We had an absolute blast at NQC this week. I got to meet some incredible people, listen to great music, see some old friends, and make some new ones! And as always, I wish I could have gotten more pictures! Can’t wait for next time :) 🎵

"If God has truly called you to do something for Him, then don't forget God obligates Himself to provide a way for you to fulfill His calling on you." My favorite quote this week came from speaking to Mark Trammell at the NQC - National Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Wow! What a word!! Thank you Brother Mark!!! I hope and pray that helps someone else as much as it did me!!!!

Saturday at the Pennsylvania Gospel Music Festival was one to remember! 🎶 The afternoon session featured incredible performances from The Guardians, The Erwins, The Mark Trammell Quartet, and Scotty Inman. Then, Saturday night brought Greater Vision, Legacy Five, Danny Funderburk, and a rare and special appearance by the Cathedrals Family Reunion! What an unforgettable day of Gospel music!

I was standing backstage last night in Shippensburg, PA at the @imc_concerts Cathedrals Family Reunion concert. I heard the intro to, “Champion Of Love”. I peeked around the curtain as the second verse was coming….I was delighted to see Gerald Wolfe stand from the piano and do the uncomfortable thing…sing. He gave it everything he had and we were all blessed. I know he doesn’t sing anymore, but he is still one of my all-time favorite singers. Thanks for this moment, friend! You blessed me!

Mark Trammell Quartet Homecoming ’26 — Night One My dad and I made our way down to Gadsden yesterday afternoon for a wonderful evening of gospel music. We got there a little early so I could record a couple of conversations throughout the evening that I’m looking forward to sharing with y’all soon. I’m excited about these episodes and think you’ll enjoy them. Walking into the singing, I about got drenched by the rain, but thankfully by the time everything started, the clouds had rolled back, and the sun had come out, setting the stage for a great evening. Jay Parrack once again did a tremendous job emceeing the event. The Whisnants opened the evening. I’ve been listening to them all my life, and I can truly say He Made a Way, I’ve Been Blessed, and I don’t know where I’d be If Not for Christ. I’m thankful for their influence and encouragement through the years. The Mark Trammell Quartet followed with those quartet classics we all love while introducing two songs from their upcoming project—a new arrangement featuring Will and a brand-new song written by Stephen. After talking with the guys, I’m even more excited for this new project. They closed their set with When Morning Sweeps the Eastern Sky. After intermission, we got a fun surprise as the “Trammell Heirs”—Jessica, Nick, and Tessa Trammell—sang My Jesus. The Whisnants closed with Even in the Valley and King Jesus Is Coming, before the Mark Trammell Quartet sang God Has Provided. Then both groups joined together to finish the night with The King Is Coming. A wonderful first night, and I’m looking forward to seeing what tonight has in store. #MTQHomecoming #MarkTrammellQuartet #TheWhisnants #SouthernGospel #TheConcertAttender
