2026 ꜱᴇᴀꜱᴏɴ ʀᴇᴄᴀᴘ What a year 🤙🏽 A great passenger in Mark Wilkes, plenty of hard work behind the scenes & a few unexpected twists along the way.. Although the sidecar TT races didn’t go as planned, there were still plenty of positives including: 🏁 Wrapping up the British Sidecar Championship season at Brands Hatch. 🏍️ Taking on a completely new challenge at the Classic TT with my solo debut on the Mountain Course. A massive thank you to Ruthless Racing for the opportunity to ride their Honda CB350. To come away with 7th in the Historic Senior & be the first 350 home was an unforgettable experience! Thank you to all our sponsors, supporters, family & friends for sticking with us throughout 2026. Your continued support means more than you know 🙏🏽 A new challenge, plenty learned & more motivation than ever to come back stronger. We’ve got unfinished business & plenty to aim for in 2027🔥 Bring it on 👊🏽 #birchallracing #iomtt #classictt #bsbsidecars #sidecarracing

ᴡᴇᴇᴋᴇɴᴅ ʀᴇᴄᴀᴘ 🏁 Our first race meeting back since the crash at Knockhill, & it was great to be back out there! Mark is still carrying an injury, but we were both declared fit to race by the expert medical team at BSB Racing. We qualified P2 for a front-row start & had a great opening race, getting stuck into a battle for the podium 👊🏽 Sunday started from pole after setting the fastest lap on Saturday. Mark & I were feeling good, the bike was feeling good, & we got more comfortable as the weekend went on. We had a big battle for the lead in Sunday’s premier race, but unfortunately had to retire part way through with a mechanical issue ⚙️ A really positive weekend overall & plenty to take forward. Next stop Brands Hatch for the final round of the British Championship. It’s shaping up to be a big finale, with some Championship teams joining us, so it’ll be interesting to see.. Looking forward to it 🤙🏽 #birchallracing #bsbracing #sidecar #sidecarracing

Knockhill Weekend Update 🏁 After a difficult TT, our attention turned back to the British Sidecar Championship at Knockhill. Ben & Mark showed strong pace! Race 1 saw them involved in a close three-way battle for the win, just missing out on second place 🥈 Race 2 was shaping up in a similar way but their weekend unfortunately came to an early end following a crash at Turn 2. A huge thank you to the MSV medical team, marshals & everyone involved for their support & care. A few fractures have been picked up which will take some time to heal, but the focus is now on recovery & getting back to full power ASAP 💪🏽 Thank you to all our sponsors, supporters, family & friends for the continued support. We’ll keep you updated 🤙🏽 #knockhill #sidecarracing #birchallracing

I didn’t know much about sidecars when I came to the TT for the first time last year, but after watching them race and meeting Ben Birchall, something clicked. For the first time, I could actually see myself doing it. It inspired me to start sidecar racing and completely changed the direction of my life. A year later, I flew back to the Isle of Man most excited for the sidecars. Instead, I watched them pack up. The day I flew out was the day the sidecar races were cancelled. I know safety has to come first, and nobody wants to see riders get hurt. But it’s hard not to feel heartbroken watching the class that inspired me so much leave without racing. The sidecars are a huge part of what makes the TT special. Standing there watching them pack up honestly brought tears to my eyes. My heart goes out to all of the teams, drivers, passengers, families, and everyone involved in the sidecar paddock. I can only imagine how disappointing this has been for all of you after everything that goes into getting here. All we can do is hope this isn’t the end and that the sidecars are back where they belong next year. They inspire more people than they probably realize. I know they inspired me. #heartbroken#canceledracing#isleofmantt#sidecars#3wheeling
