POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I rewatched the film "Brightburn" yesterday. I've always really enjoyed this film! Brightburn is a dark, creepy, and absolutely insane twist on the superhero genre.

The superb script by Brian & Mark Gunn tells a coming of age story filled with heart and yet filled with so much tension and brutal exciting action sequences. It's a story of family, being different, and a parents love.

Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, and Jackson A. Dunn star in great performances. Dunn is particularly cold and unsettling. Banks is also quite emotionally moving. There is also some really good performances from Meredith Hagner & Matt Jones.

The cinematography is fantastic by Michael Dallatorre and is accompanied by an awesome score by Tim Williams. It's well-edited by Andrew S. Eisen & Peter Gvozdas. The art direction, set decoration, production design, and costume design are well done. David Yarovesky did a great job directing this suspenseful atmospheric thrill ride that I would recommend.
