Epic week in Whitefish, Montana! We managed to ignore the call of Glacier National Park just long enough to write some great songs.
.
Also had the privilege to raise a little money for the @whitefishsongwriterfestival too! Whiteish definitely has our heart so we’ll be back.

Flash back to 2012. I’m on stage @gnatsboro in Statesboro, GA covering “Drunk On You” and dreaming of moving to Nashville TN.

I got into country music late. My George & Johnny’s were artists like @lukebryan and to wake up today literally being able to say my dreams came true is a wild feeling. Luke, thank you for listening to, believing in and recording these songs.

Both of these songs I have on the SIGNS album were written with friends who are more like brothers. @daviscorley @markaddisonchandler on “KILLER” and @locash @blakebollinger on “PRAYING BY THE RULES”. Love you fellas, congrats. You are all amazing talents I’m thankful to work with.

Thank you to @kerripedwards for always having an open ear (even when it’s like the 20th demo that month). Without you Killer may never have seen the light of day. As well as Praying, which collected 6 years of dust waiting for Gods timing and this album.

Thanks to everyone who got me here
And to my beautiful wife…music has never sounded sweeter nor flowed more freely than since you came into my life. I love you Peanut.

Y’all go listen to the whole album, out now
Congrats to all the other writers, players, producers and whoever else made this happen 🤘🤘

Been kicking around Nashville for 12 years now, and it feels dang good to have a song on the new @lukebryan record. Wrote this one last July with @kkplusnk and @markaddisonchandler , late at night on a boat dock in Lake Martin, AL. Sent it to @kerripedwards the next day, and the rest is history.

Many thanks to Luke and Kerri, the rest of the team @thekpentertainment , @rustygaston & @sonymusicpubnashville , and all the great friends and writers I’m proud to be part of this record with 🖤

What I love about @heavyhittersandco every Tuesday at @odiesbar is that it doesn’t matter which round or timeslot you catch, the talent is universally amazing. There are no “levels” to the rounds. Every single one is stacked with incredible talent. That’s what makes it a Heavy Hitters show!

What an amazing trip to Nashville!! As most of yall know, we prefer acoustic performances rather than the band scene, and boy did we get spoiled by incredible artists!! Here is just a sampling from last night's Heavy Hitters singer/songwriter at Odie's, which is an every Tuesday thing, 16 artists from 7-11pm, HIGHLY recommend!! We also found another four incredibly talented female artists, two last night at Casa Rosa's and two this morning at Ole Red before hitting the road back to WKU. It was hard to drag us away that's for sure, but we've got a BIG Louisville at WKU tonight to get to!! Until next time Nashville 🎶❤️
PS. Tried to tag them all but definitely missed some 😩😩
