Happy Closing to the cast and crew of 10 Out of 12!

I’m so proud to have been in the company of such goofy, selfless and dedicated artists. You all brought me such joy and laughter over the past few months and I’m glad we could share a glimpse of our world with audiences here in the ‘burgh together.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support and be a part of our perpetual tech rehearsal; and thank you, @quantumetheatre, for yet another memorable theatrical experience! ♥️🎭✨

Rehearsing a show about tech ➡️ teching a show about tech

2 months of theatre pals, and cracking each other up every single day, and so many chips, and a tech team that outdid themselves (i.e. almost no audience headsets malfunctioned for the entire run??). 10 Out of 12, Directed by Andrew William Smith, produced by @quantumtheatre

I will miss tripping in slow motion, choosing 2 new songs to interrupt tech every single performance (proud of that), and asking other people about how they got abs. Sweet baby Diego just wanted to hang out ❤️

Chef’s Day Out 🎭

We were invited to experience Quantum Theatre’s 10 Out of 12.

Walking into the Mellon Institute took me right back to my days (and nights) at the Mellon library and reenacting scene especially from Batman by the Mellon pillars (nerd alert!) 🤓
What I love about Quantum's newest production is that it doesn’t feel like traditional theatre.
It feels like you’ve been let in on something you’re not supposed to see… almost like watching the process instead of just the final show.

I won’t give too much away—but if you enjoy design, movement, and storytelling that doesn’t spoon-feed you… this is worth experiencing.

It was lovely meeting @melessieclark after the show. We have loved every one of her performances.

Invited experience. All opinions my own.

Blue Ridge Banjo Camp was outstanding this year! Big congrats to @cassidybeentjes on his killer arrangement for Bach’s Violin Concerto No.2 in E major (arranged in D major for 100+ banjos). It was wonderful to catch up with banjo buddies old and new, experience heightened levels of terrible Bach puns, learn the trademark Margulis muted dive bomb right hand rake of destiny, play the music and have a blast! Special thanks to Bela, Woody n’ Felty, Jamie & Greg Deering and the mountains of NC for an incredible week!
