Taking inspiration from the vintage workwear worn in Paul Vecchiali’s L’Étrangleur, Kathleen wears the fisherman tee and work shirt in washed cotton wool. Sourced from a small Japanese mill, our newest fall/winter fabric features a cotton warp and wool weft that has been laundered and felted for an incredibly soft, textured finish. Entirely woven, dyed, and finished in Hyogo prefecture then sewn to order in our Toronto studio.

With his tidy beard, bespoke suit, knit tie and Rolex Oyster Datejust, Richard Christiansen looks like a business professional – until you scan down to his feet. Those are often clad in a beat-up pair of Red Wing boots, a brand that is popular with construction workers and loggers that require sturdy, protective footwear. “I rarely take them off,” Christiansen says, though he did switch into a pair of brown oxfords for a cocktail party in his honour at Holt Renfrew’s Bloor St. store in May. “I wear them every day in the garden.” The garden is @flamingo_estate, both his home in the Los Angeles hills and his luxe lifestyle brand of olive oil, candles and other comestibles. Its allure, Christiansen feels, is the high quality and handcrafting of his products, something he came to appreciate when working for advertising clients such as Hermès, Cartier and Tod’s. PREPARE TO BE SICCKAAAA MEEE 🗣️🎬 This has been the most insaaaane 2 weeks and I’ve been vlogging BTS but let me skip to the good part a lil 🤪 @talentinccanada Showcase was INCREDIBLE. I’ve learned so much already and cannot wait to start acting classes this summer !!! I’ve been working on pursuing acting (in a way for my whole life) but seriously putting in the work recently with workshops, auditioning etc and that led me to a commercial workshop with @margaret.lastname_rose who said she got her agent years ago at the Talent Inc Canada Showcase. I immediately got in touch and things escalated fast!!!! Doug runs the school and the showcase and he’s a true angel!!
