We closed the 1st National Tour of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child last night.

I did it. I came back to a role I first did 8 years ago. I joined a company of wonderful artists and I gave it my all.

I was supported, affirmed, loved and seen. I never felt more confident as Rose Granger-Weasley than I did during this tour.

I’ve grown as a person, and with that there’s always growing pains, but I’m coming back to New York full of life and joy.

Thank you for having me back, @cursedchildus ⚡️

✨ BROADWAY DEBUT ✨
To know Markcus is to be blessed in this life.

You’ve worked so hard and poured so much into your craft. Now Broadway finally gets to witness your extraordinary talent. Through every chapter, you’ve remained the same beautiful, generous, and caring person. You deserve every bit of this.

This dream was always going to happen. It was only a matter of time.

You’re my best friend, my angel, and one of the greatest gifts G‑d has ever given me. I don’t know where I’d be without you.

Congratulations on your Broadway debut—the first of many shows. Cheers to everything you fought for, everything you are, and all the new chapters ahead.
Broadway is lucky to have you. 🥂✨

Well, this is pretty special.

Our Hoagy Carmichael’s “Stardust Road” Off-Broadway cast recording with @yorktheatre is officially here!

Making a cast recording has always been one of those “pinch me” things for me. I’ve been very fortunate enough to sing on the recordings of “On the Town” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, and there’s another special New York City Encores! recording on the way… 😉 But to finally contribute principal vocals to a cast album feels like a dream fulfilled.

I’m so proud of what we created together under the direction of Susan H. Schulman, choreography by the brilliant Michael Lichtefeld and stunning arrangements by Larry Yurman. And none of this would have been possible without @hoagybcarmichael, Hoagy’s son, whose passion for preserving and sharing his father’s music helped bring this beautiful show and cast recording to life.

Feeling very grateful to have my voice become a small part of Hoagy’s legacy. ❤️

There’s something pretty magical about knowing that a performance can live on long after the curtain comes down. So grateful to be a part of this one.

Take a listen to the album on either Apple Music, Spotify, or YouTube. You won’t regret it!

✨ STARDUST ROAD ✨• Original Off-Broadway Cast Recording • OUT TODAY!!

😭

Guys… huh?! What a surreal and proud moment. This was one of the most joyous experiences back in 2022. To have it preserved forever on an album along side my forever Friends in a Bar @dionsimmons_ @msdaniherbert @kaylajenerson @corylingner @markcusblair @mikeschwitter IS CRAZY. They’re are stupidly talented, btw. Big love and thanks to @oldhoagyboy @michaellichtefeld @rachelgeorgea @pikachudrew @elizabeth.allen.sm Larry Yurman, Melanie T. Morgan, Susan Schulman @yorktheatre ❤️

PS I have never sung by myself on a cast recording, and I won’t lie… I am fully nerding out. It’s some of my favorite music I have ever sung. Will share more of it later. 🥲
Here’s to Hoagy’s legacy 🤍 Enjoy!
