What a moment! Being reunited and plugging into my first amplifier!
Genuinely thinking of adding this to my stage set-up for the March 2027 shows, after all I believe the first time the riff from Standing On The Ruin Of A Beautiful Empire would’ve been played outside of my brain would’ve been through this amp!

The MK2 Olympus Parfitt 🎸

After the original build was lost in the workshop fire, I decided to build it again — but this time, taking it even further.

This is the MK2 version of the Olympus, built as a tribute to Rick Parfitt of Status Quo and inspired by the guitars that became such a huge part of his sound and image.

From the raw timber through to the finished instrument, every stage was built by hand here at Belben Guitars.

A proper rock ’n’ roll guitar, built with Rick in mind. 🤘

Happy 4th Birthday to our 4th record The Warring Twenties ✨✨
We made this album in the depths of the pandemic lockdowns in total isolation from the world and each other and we’re so proud of it.

We’ll be playing a bunch of these songs on the March tour in the “second set”
Tickets in bio and if you then head to our store we have very limited transparent red vinyl left 🔴

Nottingham, this is the closest to a hometown show on this run. Derby team, the Red Arrow is your friend.
Last show we played at Rescue Rooms was so awesome!
