A look at Zannier Île de Bendor, one of the newest destinations on the French Riviera. @zannieriledebendor

Located just off Bandol, the property opened this year with 93 rooms spread across three distinct “universes,” each with its own atmosphere: from retro-chic and lively to quiet, wellness-focused and more residential.

Beyond the hotel itself, the island also includes restaurants, bars, a wellness center, artisan spaces and artists in residence, giving it the feeling of a destination rather than simply a place to stay.

A very interesting new addition to the South of France. 🇫🇷

A conversation with Julien Chefdor, General Manager of Villa La Coste. @villalacoste

Julien shared a little more about the vision behind Villa La Coste and how Paddy McKillen transformed a 200-hectare vineyard in Provence into a destination with two hotels, nine restaurants, five galleries and an incredible open-air art collection.

After experiencing it myself, I completely understand the vision; but it’s the people and the attention to detail that really bring it to life.

Merci beaucoup, Julien, for having us. 🇫🇷

Château La Coste, in Provence between Aix-en-Provence and the Luberon, brings together almost everything I love about traveling: art, architecture, wine, food, nature and exceptional hospitality. @chateaulacoste

The estate is set within a 200-hectare organically farmed vineyard, with works and spaces created by artists and architects including Tadao Ando, Louise Bourgeois, Jean Nouvel and many more.

One of my favorite moments came just as we arrived: a member of the team told us that the best thing about Château La Coste is its owners, and that working there is genuinely a pleasure. I think that says everything…

A place I could return to again and again.
