POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Over the weekend at the AWCINSW Awards of Excellence.

A great day for the Venetian plaster industry.

These awards are a reminder of the skill behind the work, the applicators who turn a material into something people stop and notice.

Not just another finish on the wall, but the kind of craftsmanship that makes a space feel considered and different from everything else.

Congratulations to @venetian_co on the achievement! 👏

Proud of the people in this industry who keep raising the standard.

Thank you, @awcinsw for hosting such a memorable event.

OUR CEO IS DOING MOVEMBER! 💙

This Movember, our very own Mark Gousev, AWCINSW CEO, is getting behind an important cause — men's health.

We are proud to see Mark leading by example and helping raise awareness of men's mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

Movember is about starting conversations, checking in on your mates and reminding the men in our industry that they don't have to face things alone.

Let's get behind Mark and show what our NSW wall and ceiling industry can do when we come together! Join the cause go to the Link and sign up today.

**One Industry. One Team. The Mo, the Merrier! 💙**

It was such a privilege to spend time with 1st year apprentice Jacob Beresi employed by Creative Plastering doing his training with AWCINSW RTO in regional NSW.

Training an apprentice is more than teaching a trade, it is about providing the guidance, support and encouragement to help them succeed.

Well done Jacob.

👷‍♂️ Apprentice Spotlight | Jacob Beresi

AWCINSW CEO Mark Gousev recently caught up with first-year apprentice Jacob Beresi, who is employed by Creative Plasterers, to hear about his apprenticeship journey and what drew him to the wall and ceiling industry.

Jacob’s story is featured in Volume 4 of The NSW Board Report.

At AWCINSW, we love telling the stories of the next generation of skilled tradespeople — the apprentices who are learning their craft, building their skills and shaping their future in our industry.

An apprenticeship is about more than learning a trade. It is about gaining experience, building confidence, creating opportunities and developing a career you can be proud of.

We are proud to support Jacob and the many apprentices across NSW who are helping shape the future of our industry.
