#tbt to when I decided to join a cooking competition (day of) and do an improvised 30 min cooking show! I made a lentil curry over quinoa🧑‍🍳 Spoiler Alert 🚨 I came in 1st 🥇!! The judges said they loved my recipe, but they liked my jokes even more!! 🥸🥰😍

Thrilled to share that my stitching won first place in this year's @markhamfair for framed cross stitch!

This is @koolerdesignstudio "Judaic Ten Commandments" on @zweigartneedleworkfabrics 14 count black aida fabric, using the called-for @dmc_embroidery threads.

#ad I recently checked out @capitalonecanada fair game claw machine at the @markhamfair. The best part with this game is that everyone goes home a winner! One of my biggest takeaways from this is how Capital One really embodies their ethos of “You’ve got this and We’ve got you.” Sometimes we just need that one person in our life who believes in us and gives us a fair chance! Capital One also has so many free resources for navigating your financial wellbeing given that financial stress impacts your overall wellbeing. Their commitment to sharing resources with everyone (even if you’re not a Capital One customer) is all in an effort to help you wherever you are in your financial journey. Be sure to check out the Belief blog on the Capital One website to learn more!

Our #markhamfairambassador program would not be the same without our fantastic sponsors! It’s fitting as it’s #thanksgiving, that we send along a massive thank you 🙏 to all of them. We are very thankful each and every one of you.

Another one of my daily live-painted 8ft x 8ft murals for the Markham Fair this year. This is house paint and acrylic on aluminum panels.

This year I gave myself a loose theme of wild animals wanting to blend in on the farm, and was able to integrate various suggestions I was given by fair goers. There were multiple requests to paint a panda, and according to 1 kid’s list of “classic farm animals” I was also due to paint a chicken. Here’s the result #muraladay

Thanks to @markhamfair for having me back, and shout out to @janicepatlee and @notnoreen for organizing everything.

Markham Fair 22’🧚🏼‍♀️. Learned and performed my first aerial hoop act! Major thanks to @leeeannball for the guidance and helping me bring this act to life ❤️. Swipe to see a photo of me crying after the first 2 shows. I was clearly not having a corntastic day 🥴
