Ozum’Gal - The Dragon Passage - The Path into Gat’Ozul , the City of Wind & Shadow

Master Satochi - Head Historian continues with his history lesson explaining about the Dragon Passage, the only path into Gat’Ozul.

Most come to Ozum’Gal for combat training, trade and knowledge seeking fame and treasures. Many have heard of the Dark Gate lying in the City of Shadow, Gat’Ozul wishing to enter the city to experience it for themselves.

You shouldn’t enter the Dragon Gate and take the Dragon Passage out of curiosity alone and with arrogance. There is always a risk that a dark path opens at the Dark Gate so be prepared for combat.

You all will be receiving combat training being prepared for the Path.

The middle section is the B1 part from @sir_perceval85 huge Castle and Landscaping MOC. I modded it a bit and added the side sections to it to integrate it into my build all build with Lego.
The Tower and Gates are my own MOC build with Lego.

Ozum’Gal - History Lesson

Master Satochi had requested everyone to meet in front of the Dragon Gate for a very important history lesson.

He points out the fortifications high above the city, the watch towers behind the gate and the many guards.
Beyond you can see parts of a city named Gat’Ozul - Shadow Gate.
The only path into Gat’Ozul is through the Dragon Gate and taking the Dragon Passage into the city.

Gat’Ozul

Once it was a lively trading town where traders were selling and buying rare treasures, weapons made by the local craftsmen, the finest herbs and potions and obsidian known for its high quality. The city was famous for their portals and the Faceless Ones who were able to control them.

It was once called the City of Wind until a very long time ago and for unknown reasons a big rift appeared in the city opening a pathway into the dark. Shadows and dark forces covered the city and many died.
With the help of the craftsmen and combining all their skills the sorcerers, sorceresses and Faceless Ones managed to close off the rift using obsidian imbued with a powerful magic.

Now the Dark Gate and City is continuously guarded and the city was renamed into Shadow Gate - Gat’Ozul

Ozum’Gal - Scrying Session @legonillan ‘s Desire , Secret and Fear

Next @legonillan steps in front of the Scrying Mirror. The Head of the Faceless Ones feels the energy radiating from Pernilla and decides there is no need for any potion to help the scrying process.

As soon as Pernilla only gives a glimpse at the mirror dark heads and figures, bones, dark omens and 3 black ravens appear to her delight. One of the raven flys into her hand.

As quickly as her desires appeared they are replaced by a huge Christmas Tree 😮. Pernilla looks shocked and maybe even a bit embarrassed? Let’s say it wasn’t her plan to reveal one of her biggest secrets THAT SHE LOVES CHRISTMAS 🎄🤣
Everyone gets close and some look delighted at the tree and some show a bit of shock on their faces.

And suddenly the scene changes again! The tree is gone and out of the mirror climb lots of spiders 😱 Pernilla is so shocked having to face her fear, she can not move. There is a lot of screaming @andrzejr3030 the loudest of them all running off with @legoianp close behind shouting: ‘Wait for me !! ‘

@inappropriatepiratebricks hasn’t caught up on what’s going on while everyone is running towards Obsidian Square. @colorificcassie obviously doesn’t mind spiders as much and stays on Pernilla’s side.
The only one really enjoying the moment is @roohallow who looks intrigued by a beautiful white species and bends down to pick it up.

After all the turmoil finally died down Master Kuma calls two members of the Faceless Ones over and explains that @legonillan ‘s love for the dark side makes her the perfect candidate to join the sisterhood but a lot of practice is involved and maybe some sacrifices , her fear of spiders could be a problem.

Ozum’Gal - The first Scrying Session

Everyone is standing in the Old Square curious of what’s going to happen. Master Kuma - Head of Ozum’Gal and his trusted friend Master Isamu, Sorceress Hikari, Master Satochi - Head Historian, Master Kuro - Head of the Guards of Ozum’Gal and the Head of the Faceless Ones are all in attendance.

Master Kuma when asking who wants to go first there is suddenly a big shuffle and @smithy_bricks is the only one left in the Square.
Well done Alex/Smithy says Master Kuma while Smithy smiles nervously.

The Head of the Faceless Ones is overseeing the Scrying Sessions. You met her once before when the other Alex 🙄 @flexdunbar couldn’t resist touching the old portal opening a dark path and unleashing a being with lots of tentacles. The Faceless Ones do control the portals, you will hear more about it.

So now Alex is being served with a liquid to help with the scrying. As soon as he has downed the fluid items appear above the scrying mirror. Lots of books and ink wells pop up.
After the surface calmed down again Master Kumo calls Master Satochi the Head Historian. Looks like @smithy_bricks will be joining the students of the Nevermore Acadamy in the long run. He will be tutored and prepared by one of the head pupils of the Academy for now besides attending history lessons and combat training.

When everyone is about to leave the Scrying Mirror becomes active again and an image of a lighthouse appears. It radiates a positive vibe so it must be a dream of @smithy_bricks .

Ozum’Gal - The Cemetery

Late at night while everyone else is asleep @brick_cognition leaves the accommodations looking for a quiet corner.

She spots the cemetery situated behind the old portal.
Making sure no one is looking she steps close to the rock wall and pulls out the obsidian crystal she had ‘obtained’.

Ozum’Gal - Old Square

The first lesson is over and everyone is rushing towards Obsidian Square for dinner where plenty of food stalls offer delicious snacks.

Only @brick_cognition is still staring at the Obsidian fascinated by its starry glow.

The craftsmen are busy collecting all the material to carry it back to their workshop.
So @brick_cognition picks up a smaller crystal then a larger one.
It’s so tempting quickly putting the small one in her pocket and turns around to join the others for dinner.

What is she thinking??? What is she up to 🤔

Ozum’Gal - the Scrying Mirror

Sorceress Hikari is joint by 4 craftsmen who carry into the Old Square big lumps of rock. Some are split open and reveal shiny looking crystals with a blue shine like a starry sky.

She has everyones attention and explains this is Obsidian, a naturally occurring volcanic glass which is being used for centuries to create scrying mirrors and portals by these craftsman. Their skills are passed on in their families. However non of the desired properties of any portal or mirror can be achieved without the right magic.

Furthermore Sorceress Hikari explains there will be Scrying Sessions for everyone here. They will reveal your desires, strengths, fears and weaknesses.

Guess who was the first to touch the Obsidian. Looks like @flexdunbar hasn’t learned his lesson.
And of course @legoianp @sleepswithlego probably looking for a profit making scheme and @brick_cognition with great curiosity being a scientist.

Everyone gets the chance to check it out and the whispering starts. Will the scrying reveal any of their secrets ??

Ozum’Gal - Old Square

Every new arrival had received fresh clothes and were told to meet in the Old Square.

Master Kuma is just passing the list of names to Master Satochi, the Head Historian of Ozum’Gal when his trusted friend Master Isamu arrives with an unknown candidate. Looks like Master Isamu came across Andy @andrzejr3030 after taking the Dragon Passage into Gat’Ozul, the neighbouring town.

Now Master Kuma, Master Satochi and Master Isamu watch Andy being surrounded by his friends and being bombarded with questions. Where does he come from? What happened? How did he end up here? Why did he disappear to after visiting Brickfield?….

Master Kuma is not having it, as the head of Ozum’Gal he is on a schedule with no time to loose. After a lot of chitchat he finally has their attention and tells them there will be History Lessons and Scrying Sessions as well as Combat Training and more.

Then Sorceress Hikari steps into the middle bringing with her something that looks like a portal … 🤫

Ozum’Gal - Evacuation

The sky over Ozum’Gal is slowly calming down. Sorceress Hikari and one of her sisters had lowered the carriage carefully into the Dragon Square. As the door was stuck the roof had been taken off. With a ladder on the side one by one of the passengers can leave the train.

@sleepswithlego and @emma_loves_to_bake_ are first. They look a bit shaken but all is well now after the rollercoaster ride through the portal.

@darksilversoul @legonillan and @le60_hev follow . Hev looks upset her drink got spilled.

@roohallow looks rather embarrassed climbing down the ladder in his pyjamas. He had sneaked into the carriage to quickly fetch some food and then return to his cabin when everything started to spin.

@markhill.comarts looks excited while Guy from 39 helps him getting onto the ladder.

@brick_cognition @adrian_c308 and @lego_dad_and_the_kids join the others waiting in the square looking around curiously.
@inappropriatepiratebricks woke up only now and with Tattoo Guy is the last the leave the train.

Then the chatter and lots of questions start. Master Kuro is surrounded by the boys while his fellow Sword Master is circled by the girls being bombarded.

Ian @legoianp is standing further back and is not very happy with the events watching Tattoo Guy and Guy from 39 standing close to each other.
