They screwed me up too bad. I’m sorry Mitchell, Taylor, and Ariel. Russia threw me in a brig in my own iron to kill me. They never made it back to.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This is a public appreciation post for my amazing cousins. They always say yes when I ask for help, and show up with smiles, works clothes, and trailers to help me on my crazy adventures. Today was BANANAS 🍌- and I couldn’t have survived without them. Grateful they’ll be alongside me on this next journey in home (farm!) ownership.

Every time I take a leap, they jump with me 💚

I am so very blessed that they are my family and the best friends a girl could hope for. It’s safe to say @mia_meucci is an official Eakin cousin after today 🥳

Love you all 😘

Earlier today, another beloved Aunt went on to her rest. Vicki, mom to Vanessa and Samantha and the second of the Eakin sisters, has finally found peace after a hard battle with lung cancer.

Through the highs and lows of life she never lost her fierce independence, her kindness for lost souls, and her ability to find magic in everything. She filled my childhood with stories of fairies, flower crowns, and countless hours exploring the wonder of the woods. She also taught us all how to love one another, even when it’s hard.

@akronsammi and @gazingglassstudio walked alongside her on a hard journey over many years, and carried her often. So did her sisters. We will all miss her. Please lift us up in your thoughts, and if you’re of the persuasion, your prayers.

Memorial plans for February 26th will be shared soon.

Feeling especially grateful for my cousins tonight. I’ve been on a journey lately of preparing a small ranch on the Westside of Akron for my mom. Working on a deadline with home improvement projects is never easy. It’s particularly stressful when trying to proactively think through what your parent needs over the next decade or two. My heart is full with the love and labor my cousins have provided over the last two weeks:

- @akronsammi and @gazingglassstudio who prepared and hosted the holiday, and understood when I didn’t talk much and left early to go sleep.
- @ianmcunningham for showing up in less than 24 hours after I called to ask his opinion to run new electric to the kitchen - and didn’t bat an eye when I taught his daughter the joy of dolly rides. @pankate1589 I promise she was 100% safe.
- @m.jendrisak for his custom cabinet skills.
- And an extra special shout out to @markjr.drums who is doing it all and was brave enough to let me try the nail gun.

Love you all so very much 💕
