I am truly honored and humbled to have received three academic awards this week: the 2026 Christian Studies Award, the Zondervan Theology Award, and being listed as a part of LCU’s 2026 Dean’s List.

As I stood surrounded by friends and family, I was reminded of the hard work that has gone into this journey and the many people who have supported me along the way.

I am incredibly grateful for each person who has encouraged, challenged, and lifted me up. To friends, family, mentors, my church family, and the faculty at LCU: Thank you all, I love you!

The Department of Music had the honor of participating in the inauguration of President Mark Johnson! Voices, Chorale, Grace-notes as well as other Community Choirs &Local Churches combined to take part in his Inauguration. 💙🧡

We are so incredibly thankful to President Mark Johnson & Louisiana Christian University to have this opportunity & honor. 🎤🎶

LCU’s 10th inauguration!! I am blessed to experience the journey that we have been on and I am thankful for all the support that was shown along the way. To my dad there wasn’t a lot I could do without you and I am thankful to have a role model to look up to like you in my life. A man standing firm in his faith, bringing people together, and striving for the Lord. I wouldn’t be the man I am now today and continuing to learn and grow more spiritually, mentally, and physically if it wasn’t for you.
