Prayers and Prescriptions, written and directed by Kevin Garbaran, reminds us that mental health deserves the same attention, compassion, and care as physical health. Produced in partnership with the Government of Canada, the International Development and Relief Foundation (IDRF) and The Georgetown Film Festival. Special thanks to @georgetownfilmfestival for having us be part of this initiative. If you or someone you know is struggling, support is available. Faith and professional care can work together, and seeking help is a sign of strength. For support, call 915 (Guyana) or visit mentalhealth.gov.gy. Here’s your sign on why you should attend Musings of a Poet IV. Musings is for the ones who crave more than just a show, more than just words on a stage. It’s for the moments that sit with you after the lights go down; the lines that echo in your chest, the music that moves you without permission, the dance that says everything you couldn’t. If you’ve ever needed a space to pause, reflect, feel, and just be…this is it. 🎭 Musings of a Poet IV 📍 National Cultural Centre 🗓️ March 22 & 23 ⏰ 8:00 PM 🎟️ $5,000 Come for the poetry… leave with something you didn’t expect. #MusingsOfAPoet #NDC #Poetry #Theatre #Wine

Are you ready to have that uncomfortable conversation with your child? At Musings of a Poet, we bare the raw truth — the kind many people struggle to say out loud. Through powerful words and fearless voices, we confront the topics society often whispers about… the ones we avoid, the ones that make us shift in our seats. Witness untamed tongues as we challenge the silence and raise the conversations many call taboo. 📍 National Cultural Centre 🗓 Sunday March 22 & Monday March 23 ⏰ 8:00 PM 🎟 Tickets: $5,000 📞 Call or WhatsApp 609-5600 to reserve yours today Poets: Kimberly Harry, Tchaiko Rodney, Nickose Layne and Mark Luke Edwards

Musings of a Poet is where poetry steps off the page and onto the stage. A night of powerful words, live performances, and stories that echo long after the lights dim. It’s poetry, theatre, wine, and an audience ready to feel every line. #MusingsOfAPoet #PoetryNight #TheatreAndPoetry #GuyanaArts
