Aside from his pure talent, he built a space where he grew up based on community and local support. Today we celebrate 9 years of Marty spreading love around the barbershop! Marty has been coming to the shop and touching peoples lives since he was just a few months old- Happy Birthday Marty!

It is bittersweet for us to share that Coco will be moving out of NYC and will no longer be working with us at friend of a barber :(. We are so sad to see her go, but want to focus on how lucky to have been able to spend so much of our lives together. Those who know Coco know just how truly special it is to be around her, and those who dont know her personally have definitely overheard her craziness at some point. She is one of those people who truly makes New York special and NYC won’t be the same without her. As sad as we are to see her go, we wish Coco the best of luck in Japan! She will be part of the Friend of a Barber family forever!
