Hear us out: What if we were world leading in how we look after the people who make the world class product? 🎬🎭

Our industry relies entirely on its people to deliver the magic we know to be British film, television and theatre. There is no deliverable without our cast, crew, creatives, and production teams, which is why it is so critical that we build workplace environments where everyone can truly thrive.

Last year’s inaugural Impact of Injury (IOI24) report from the IPC sparked an essential, industry-wide conversation. To keep moving safety out of ‘do better’ and into standardised practice, we need hard numbers. We need data to shift the paradigm, and the good news is that you, dear reader, can help make that a reality.

📣 This is your call
The Impact of Injury 26 (IOI26) survey is live. Whether you work on stage, on screen, or behind the scenes, and whether you have personally experienced a production injury or not, your voice is vital.

Your input will directly help the IPC grow the evidence base needed to:

- Prevent avoidable injuries before the cameras roll or the curtains rise.
- Ensure safety needs are accurately and honestly reflected to stakeholders and insurers.
- Establish targeted standards to support safer everyday working practices.

When we hail the UK creative sector as being world leading, we often forget to acknowledge how we got there.

The Film & TV industry relies heavily on its people in order to deliver its product to market. There is no product with our cast, crew, creatives and production teams. That’s why is so very important that we build workplace environments where they can thrive.

This survey is completely anonymous and exists solely to reflect your experience of working in the industry. Sharing that experience can help make a positive and lasting difference.
