A look back at more highlights from an unforgettable Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby ✨

Benvenuto Cellini provided Aidan O’Brien with his eighteenth success in the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby🐎

The excitement continued both on and off the track, with the Dubai Duty Free Best Dressed Competition bringing plenty of glamour to the Curragh.

A huge congratulations to Jeanette Kelly from Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, who was crowned Best Dressed and took home an incredible prize package including return flights for two to Dubai, five nights at the five-star Creekside Hotel and €1,000 to spend at Dubai Duty Free. ✈️🥂

Still thinking of the amazing day at the 19th Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby ✨

Which took place at the iconic Curragh Racecourse on Sunday, 28th June, the day brought together thrilling racing, incredible style and plenty of entertainment.

We were delighted to have @voguewilliams as the lead style judge for the Best Dressed Competition, alongside @bairbrepower and Alpana Cidambi.

Guests enjoyed the exclusive St. Leger Suite, with spectacular views across the track, parade ring and winning post, alongside gourmet lunch, afternoon tea and a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day. 🏇

Ecstatic and can’t quite believe my feature film “Kung Fu Deadly”, is making its WORLD PREMIERE at the legendary @fantastic.fest in Austin, TX this September alongside a host of incredible movies (Resident Evil, the new Martin McDonagh ahhh!!)

KFD is a movie made with full hearts by an incredible team of never-say-die cast and crew, dedicated to the idea of making a throwback adventure movie like the ones we all loved growing up. But also set in Dublin, with Spicebags.

To have our world premiere at the biggest genre festival in the world where the likes of John Wick, Zombieland, Split and more have premiered is a thrill of thrills.

Much more about KFD to come, but can’t be more pleased to high kick its cinematic journey into action at FF! See you there!

Up Carlow!

Such beautiful songwriting from @u2 We recorded the song in a live take many years ago in the factory in Dublin where we had a studio at the time, with the amazing @sharoncorrofficial playing soulful violin on it. It ended up being used in a big American tv show at the time called Rescue Me. U2 very kindly approved it. You can find it on Spotify etc, it still sounds great. Sometimes when a band becomes so successful, the actual songwriting can sometimes get a little overshadowed. It’s not easy to write a great song and U2 have written so many of them.

Highlighting the amazing @markmurphycomposer who played such a big part in shaping the sound of ALL THE DAYS. His guitar playing sets the atmosphere and tone for many of the songs on the record. Mark helped elevate it in so many ways, not just with his playing but with his overall excellent taste, sensibilities and ability to hear and see things in the songs that no one else did. He’s such an important part of The Devlins sound on this record. He’s also one of the coolest human beings in the planet⚡️⚡️
