Every Step Together Matters! ❤️ Сваки корак заједно је важан! ❤️

More than 370 participants joined the 3rd Annual Marko Niketic Foundation 5K Walk, celebrating love, unity, and Marko’s lasting legacy of kindness. Every step honors Marko, supports his family, and strengthens our community.

Heartfelt thanks to all our sponsors, donors, and participants. We are especially grateful to the Niketic family for generously matching this year’s proceeds, which will benefit our Cathedral.

Together, we keep Marko’s legacy alive—one step at a time. ❤️

Thank you Gordana Niketic and the Marko Niketic Foundation for your donated goal sponsorship. Four members of the Glenview Fire Department were able to golf and enjoy the event due to your generosity.

Glenview Stars and GBS families, please support the Marko Niketic Foundation, to honor the legacy of a wonderful young man.

Marko Niketić Foundation 5K Walk Event
An Outpouring of Love ♥️
This year’s 5K Walk was a beautiful testament to the love, strength, and unity of our community. We walked not just in remembrance, but in celebration of Marko’s light—our angel who continues to inspire us all.
With full hearts, we thank everyone who made this day so meaningful: the many participants, His Grace Bishop Serafim, the clergy, our generous sponsors, donors, and the volunteers who gave their time and spirit. Your presence and support are a reflection of the love that continues to surround Marko’s memory.
At the wish of the Niketić family, all proceeds from this year’s walk will benefit the St. Mardarije Center Building Fund at the St. Sava Monastery—a place close to Marko’s heart and a cornerstone of our faith.
Together, we are building more than just a center—we are building a legacy of love, community, and faith.
Every step together matters.#markoniketić
Thank you for walking with us. ♥️

At halftime during all three games will be hosting the 'Chuck A Duck' challenge. At the door you will have the opportunity to purchase rubber ducks while supplies last, and at halftime you will be throwing them from your seats in the bleachers down to a target below on the court. The closest 3 ducks to the center in each game will win a gift card of their choice!
The @markoniketicfoundation has generously donated gift cards from Uber, Chick fil a, Chipotle, and Dunkin Donuts!

They have also donated shirts and sweatshirts. If you donate $30 you will get a shirt, and if you donate $50 you will get a sweatshirt (while supplies last).
You can donate with the link in the bio as well!

Let's raise some money for an amazing cause and let's have some fun!
