What a great evening, everyone was so complimentary, I was overwhelmed with the love I received ❤️

Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated this milestone with me, chatted, drank wine and bought my paintings!

We stock a huge range of homewares, lighting, made to order sofas, faux flowers, furniture and gifts - everything your home needs. Plus we’re only a couple of units down from the brilliant & knowledgeable @coriniumpaintsltd, and @markparrish_midcenturymodern is our next door neighbour! Someone asked me the other day what the advantages are of buying vintage. The question was about glassware but my answer would be the same whether talking about most things - furniture, clothes, records. These are just some of the reasons I love vintage.
• Reduced environmental impact. Buying secondhand mitigates the effects of modern manufacturing processes and reduces the number of items being tossed into landfill.
• Quality. Vintage pieces are often better made than their modern equivalents.
• Price. Unless you're looking for something particularly rare or collectable, buying vintage is generally a cheaper way to shop.
• Style. Free yourself from the tyranny of trends by discovering one-off pieces and developing your personal style.
• Fun. Never underestimate the thrill of unearthing vintage treasure at a car boot sale or at the back of a secondhand shop.
Looking at my living room this morning, I realised that most of the pieces in there are vintage - the sofa, coffee table, light, chair and rug. I've sourced them from lots of different places including ebay and Facebook Marketplace which can be surprisingly rewarding if you're prepared to invest the time. I'll tag those I can remember in the image and also take this opportunity to give my side hustle @muddled.vintage shameless plug. If you're looking for vintage glasses or barware then please do check it out.
