Last night, we had the extraordinary privilege of seeing Shoes for Scholars celebrated at an intimate evening hosted by Toca Madera and LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton), the global luxury group behind some of the world’s most iconic brands.

When Shoes for Scholars started, the vision was simple: create opportunities for students to recognize their potential, celebrate academic achievement, and understand that their hard work deserves to be rewarded.

Today, that vision is opening doors to conversations and collaborations that are beyond imaginable.

What excites us most isn’t simply the caliber of the organizations supporting our mission. It’s what their involvement represents.

Businesses have an extraordinary opportunity to create meaningful community impact by aligning their resources, influence, and expertise with organizations driving measurable change.

And when leaders from different industries come together around a common purpose, the possibilities extend well beyond a single event.

Been thinking about life’s paths and making certain decisions that change the course. Or life happenstance that changes it for you.

Even with this change in career- I’m working so hard towards a certain goal but what if that changes or what if it doesn’t go as I plan? Probably the “what if’s” and the holding tight to the plan is the thing I need to let go of. Because sometimes you can plan all you want, but life has its way.
