Casting our Latest Theatre Project: HOW TO COOK RED SNAPPER AT THE END OF THE WORLD
Written by Isabel Margolis Brodsky

A rabbi, a priest, and a contortionist walk into a diner at the end of the universe.

Now Casting:
THE PRIEST…………………………………………………………………. Mentally very old, physically also very old.

THE CONTORTIONIST……………………………………………………. A wacko with a bad back.

THE RABBI…………………………………………..………………………… Probably old too, but has always been this way.

THE FISH ……………………………………………………………………. A fish out of water. A real miracle.

🍷🐐🏛️ Greek Freak Comedy Theatre crashes into Hackney!
The Cyclops of East London has Arrived 🎭👁️

Euripides’ Cyclops becomes a riotous, wine-filled Greek comedy of satyrs, six-inch heels, puppetry, physical theatre, and one very hungry monster.

When Odysseus crashes his Lime bike in Hackney, he encounters a debauched band of satyrs, a one-eyed Cyclops, and brings far too much wine. A Bacchanalian pub romp about decadence, assimilation, and what happens when you’re eaten alive… and whether you come out the same on the other side.

📍 Off Broadway Bar, Broadway Market, Hackney @baroffbroadway
September 29 & 30 Pub at 7pm, Performance at 7:30pm

🎟️ Free Ticket Lottery — Register Now to link in bio! Strictly limited capacity, or RSVP direct to @globeroadtheatre

We’ll begin with a heart-opening ceremonial drink - a gentle invitation to land, breathe, and set your intention for the day ahead.

From there, expect an energising yoga practice designed to challenge you, build strength, and bring you into your body. We’ll refuel with beautiful food (handpicked by Abi of course), good conversation, and moments of connection before settling into a deeply restorative yet elevating journey of breathwork, meditation, and sound healing. ✨

Living with gratitude to all those who were a part of the New America Theatre Festival of London for USA 250!
We were proud to stage 7 scenes from 7 acclaimed American artists at the @globeroadtheatre pop-up pub theatre in East London.
I directed 3 scenes, featured above, including
How to Make an American Son by Christopher Oscar Peña
Featuring Stian Jebsen, Emmanuel Arreola, and Keith LeBlanc
The Taming by Lauren Gunderson
Featuring Chloe-Gene Lateulere, Chaya Gonzales, and Jolie LeBell
Alala and The Scarman by Silma Sierra Berreda
Featuring Kenndrick Horton and Sophie Lenglinger

I am honoured by the trust of the writers with their words, the generosity of my actors with their effort and devotion, and the encouragement and support of our audience, collaborators, and community.
Thank you all for GRT Vol 2, more to come!

Thank you to Thomas @thomas.brunning @burnning.concept for these amazing photos!

I’m still wrapping my head around the fact that I created this just 9 months into teaching. From incredible opportunities across London to private classes in Paris and now hosting my own retreats, this journey has been more than I ever imagined, and I’m so grateful for every person, every lesson, and every moment that’s led me here.

This retreat reminded me that yoga is about so much more than what happens on the mat. It’s about creating space for people to pause, reconnect with themselves, share conversations that turn strangers into friends, and simply enjoy being present - all while growing stronger physically, mentally, and emotionally. Being able to facilitate that is something I’ll never take for granted.

Seeing everyone fully immersed in this experience and hearing your kind words afterwards was the biggest reminder that this is exactly what I’m meant to be doing.

The biggest piece of feedback? “I wish it was longer.” So that’s exactly what we’re doing. More time to move, slow down, connect, nourish, and create even more magic.✨
