Lake Powell Leadership retreat, and Good Guys roundup up 2026 ✅✅

This week was incredible. Reps came from all over to celebrate accomplishments from this last year, but even more so- prepare for the future.

I love our culture here.

It’s different.

It’s family focused. It’s about doing things the right way. Working hard. Having integrity. Short term sacrifices for long term gains.

We are focused on the person, and who they are becoming, more than the accomplishment, and what that means to the company.

You can feel the buzz of excitement and buy in at every training, and event.

Reps want to be here. They are excited about the future, and understand the path and vision to get true FREEDOM.

I feel so grateful. This last week was transformative.

Enviroguard is a company built on the founders and partners creativity and ability to bootstrap. Get trenchy, work hard, and make it bigger and better… with less.

It was really intimidating pulling off these 2 giant events, and hoping they would all come together.

Our team proved this week that we can do the impossible. And while we lacked some of the flash and wow factor often seen in the industry… we more than made up for it in the heart, and soul, and meaning behind every interaction.

I’m excited for the future.

It’s been a while since I dropped an update!

-Started knocking for Enviroguard Pest Control February 15th.🏃🏽‍➡️
-Helped Makenna Halls open up a branch in Houston Texas and witnessed that thing go from 0-$4M in revenue in 4 months. 🚀
-Took our talents to Bentonville, AR as a Branch Owner on pace to cross 1,000 accounts active this week. 📈

Shout out to Jamie Wengert being there for me every step of the way through this perfect storm and being a rock for me. 🪨

I couldn’t have done this without Yogi, Mitch, Mark, Makenna, Luis, Elam, and the so many others on our team that contributed and created the Good Guy Culture!

Closed on another 6 units today with one of my best friends 🤝

It’s fun buying real estate and doing projects, but it’s a whole lot more fun when you get to do it with people you genuinely enjoy being around.

Nothing great was ever done alone.

Find a good group of people you can do business with, do life with, laugh with, grow with, and enjoy the process along the way.

The deals are cool, but the people you get to do them with and the relationships you build along the way are what make it all worth it.

Another project in the woks. Let’s keep going! 🙌

After hosting over 100 business owners and investors at the first three CDS Retreats, I’ve realized something…

The greatest value has never come from me.

It comes from the people in the room.

Here are a few of the biggest lessons I’ve learned:

1. The attendees bring the value. Every person arrives with a different background, different experiences, and different solutions. The conversations between attendees often become the most impactful part of the entire weekend.
2. Everyone is stuck somewhere. Whether it’s finding deals, raising capital, building systems, hiring, marketing, or balancing family and business, everyone has challenges. The amazing part is that someone else in the room has usually already solved the exact problem you’re facing.
3. The best conversations aren’t on stage. They’re over breakfast, during a hike, on the boat, around the fire, or late at night after the sessions end. Those are often the conversations that change the trajectory of a business.
4. The fastest way to grow is to shorten the learning curve. Years of trial and error can sometimes be replaced by a single conversation with someone who’s already been where you want to go.
5. Community creates confidence. It’s amazing what happens when you’re surrounded by people who believe bigger is possible and are willing to share what’s actually worked for them.

That’s why I continue to host these retreats. They aren’t about sitting through presentations all day—they’re about building relationships that continue creating opportunities long after the weekend is over.
