Thanks for joining us in kicking off a week of typography last Wednesday ! We got to enjoy a look behind the scenes of Solomiia's @soliia_art typographic intersection between Ukrainian and American identities, Mark's @markycdavis development of variable typeface Cal Sans, and go back in time with Jon's @jonvalkdesign retro postcard promotional mailer.

We'd also like to give a special thanks to Deborah on the flute and Richard on the didgeridoo for activating the space with their incredible live music!

Our next Type Tonight event will be on Friday, July 31st— stay tuned for more details.

If I’m honest I was sad to leave Tokyo and all the plans i wanna to do there, but Nagano blew my expectations away.

As 2023 comes to a close, I’m thinking about all the wonderful people I got to know this year. In 2023, I began my content creation journey and, as a result, I made so many new friends, uncovered new archival discoveries, traveled all over the United States to attend real-life Pokémon events, hosted meet-ups, was fortunate enough to make content for some incredible toy brands, and… I even got engaged! 💍💕

To every person who made this year so unbelievable: thank you all. Although Instagram only lets me tag 20 of you in this post, I’m thinking of ALL of you today and wishing each and every person I met in 2023 a happy and healthy new year in 2024! ❤️🎉
