I was just telling a friend how Iā€™ve been noticing the Lordā€™s kindness to me in so many simple, everyday ways lately. It helped me reflect that if the past couple of years hadnā€™t held some hard seasons, I donā€™t think I would cherish these simple gifts in the same way. Some of the simple things: ā˜•ļøOur church having a really good coffee cart on Easter Sunday for the first time (ā€¦like really good). ā˜€ļøšŸ•¶ļø Extra sunshine & 75+ degree weather during the winter months. šŸ¾šŸ¶ More adventure time outdoors with my dogs. šŸ‘©ā€šŸ³ Trying to use all the ingredients in our pantry with the help of my soon to be robot overlord ChatGPT. šŸ‘ÆA couple very casual, lowkey hangout with girlfriends at their houses. No agendas, no fuss, just quality time. & some other hangs with longtime friends we havenā€™t seen in a while! In light of past Easter Sunday & celebrating God sending His Son to die for us so we could have a relationship with Him, it remind me of this verse. ā€œ[God] who did not spare his own Son but gave [His Son] up for us all, how will [God] not also with [His Son] graciously give us all things?ā€ - Romansā€¬ ā€­8ā€¬:ā€­32ā€¬ ā€­

Thanks for the memories (and wheelchair) @parkhyattaviara @hyatt šŸŽ„This may become an annual tradition for our families right before Christmas! Some highlights from the weekend: - awesome tennis courts (sadly Cathy got hurt though šŸ˜”) - the BEST water slides for kids (even in December the water is warm) - Globalist perks like free late check-out, free breakfast/coffee, and suite upgrades if the hotel has space available. This was my first tournament that wasnā€™t a team event. Playing 4 matches in a row is pretty demanding! Though itā€™s not unusual for me to play 5 hours in a day, I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever played 5 hours straight before. It was so much fun! One thing I did differently (for the first time) that helped conserve energy was I switched to a platform step-in serve, rather than my usual pinpoint with a jump. I basically threw away my first service game to figure out this new serve, but it was effective - we didnā€™t drop a single set all tournament! In 2022, I joined @senestudio as an advisor focused on the brand experience. Weā€™ve collaborated on everything from identity, to a capsule collection, to overall ā€œvibesā€ of how SENE shows up as a brand. My relationship with SENE began in 2019, as I was searching to find a suit built with sustainable practices that would hold up well for travel; something that looked good, moved well with me, and I didnā€™t have to iron. I was intrigued by SENEā€™s SmartFit system that allowed me to create a custom suit without measuring tape. It also allowed me the ability to specify how I wanted the suit to fit ā€”tailored, longer, slim, etc. As an artist trying to find a suit that wouldnā€™t make me look like a ā€œsuit,ā€ this was perfect. After meeting Founders @rayxli and @markzheng in Los Angeles, CA and hearing about their mission to make clothing more sustainable and inclusive, I was hooked. SENE practices zero inventory, which means everything is made-to-order, thus eliminating lots of waste found in standard garment manufacturing. SENEā€™s clothing is the basis of my daily uniform and accounts for over half of my closet. Under Ray and Markā€™s leadership, itā€™s incredible to see SENE evolve into the accessible luxury brand it is today.
