A bouquet like this doesn’t happen by chance... 💐 By the time it’s in your hand, the colours have already been worked through across the tables, the room and the wider setting. We’re looking at how it will sit in photos, how it reads in different light, and how it ties back to everything else happening around you. A big part of our job is having those conversations early with your florist. Not just “what flowers do you like”, but how everything needs to come together so nothing feels separate on the day. When that’s done properly, you don’t notice it. You just walk into your wedding and everything makes sense. If this is the sort of detail you care about, I’d love to hear what you’re planning. Tap the link in my bio to get in touch and begin dreaming about your big day blooms 🌿🌸 Lucy & Christian’s Suppliers: Event Manager @hylandweddings Marquee @marldonmarquees Caterer @pasettiandboote Photographer & Videographer @storiesfromeros Flowers @stowford.flowers Cake @topshamcakes Bar Structure @thenaturalhirecompany Bar Stools, Parasols & Screens @virginiasvintagehire Bar Staff @jks_bars Daytime Band @dadopasqualini Band @formationbanduk Hair @avedaexeter Makeup @keeleywilsonmakeup Potted Trees @fusspots.co.uk Glassware @allens_hire Catering Equipment @blasteventhire Table Linen @just_4_linen Wine @amiewinestudio Bin & Fridge Trailer Hire @fridgerate #weddingbouquet #bridalbouquet #summerweddingflowers #weddingflowers #bridalflowers

Michelle & Firas 07/06/25🤍 For @michelle__saade & @abou.nouwes ’ wedding at the beautiful Spanish Barn, we had the pleasure of planning and delivering the entire celebration from start to finish. We provided full wedding planning and on-the-day coordination, alongside catering, bar service, and a full waiting team throughout the day. From welcome drinks and canapés, to a banquet-style wedding breakfast for 150 guests, followed by a canapé dessert table, and bar service flowing seamlessly into the evening. We sourced and coordinated every supplier involved, including tables, chairs, tableware, glassware, and full event styling and décor, transforming the space to reflect Michelle & Firas’ vision from the ceremony through to celebration. Culture and music sat at the heart of the day. A bagpiper led the ceremony in a nod to Michelle’s Scottish heritage, before a surprise Lebanese Zaffa band honoured Firas’ roots and ignited the room on guest arrival. During the banquet, a saxophonist serenaded guests and softened the pace, before high-energy waves from the evening band took over after dessert and cake, carrying the party late into the night. A perfect collision of two cultures, creating an unforgettable, joyful celebration. The day was beautifully captured by a talented photography and videography team, with florals thoughtfully chosen to complement the setting and highlight the brides beauty. A truly unforgettable day at one of Torbay’s most prestigious landmarks 🤍 — Wedding Planner: @doodandfrink Catering, Bar & Waiting Team: @doodandfrink Venue: @torreabbey Catering Marquee: @marldonmarquees Tableware & Glassware: @abbotts_event_hire Event Styling & Décor: @emilyroseeventshire Florist: @deerleapflowers Videographer: @jtfilmweddings Photographer: @sophiachristie_photography Lebanese Zaffa Band: @al_awde_zafa Saxophone: @tawsax Evening Band: @thewvscollective Food Truck: @funkyanchovy Outside Toilets: @loospremier #DevonWeddings #TorquayWedding #WeddingPlanning #WeddingCatering #LuxuryWeddings DoodAndFrink

Your wedding bar deserves just as much thought as your tablescape. After all, it’s one of the busiest spaces of the whole day, and where guests naturally gather. Too often, bars are treated as purely practical, but with a little intention, they can become a real design feature. Think greenery or floral styling, soft lighting, or even a bespoke cocktail menu to tie in with your theme 🍸 It’s these thoughtful touches that transform a functional bar into part of the celebration, elevating both the look of your space and the guest experience. If you’d love us to bring this kind of detail into your day, get in touch with our team at Hyland Weddings & Events. Throwing it back to the Kingsbridge Show earlier this month! 🐑🐶 It may be over two weeks ago now, but we’re still reeling from the brilliant day celebrating all things South Hams. From countryside traditions to community spirit (and of course all the happy pups!), it was a true highlight of our year. We were proud to be one of the sponsors once again, and already looking forward to next year! 💚
