“I’ve thought up an ending for my book: “And he lived happily ever after to the end of his days.” - Bilbo Baggins I can say without a doubt getting to portray the Hobbit himself in “The Hobbit” was one of the greatest experiences of my life just as I hoped it would be. This had been such a forward looking passion project I’d had my sights set on for about a year, and Bilbo specifically. Researching him for almost a year gave me a newfound respect for him as my favorite Tolkien character, and the one I found relating to the most. And when I came back home, it was with the same empty feeling I think he had at the end of his journey, but also one he could take pride in because of how how glad he was to have made a difference, and how grateful he was for all the wonderful things and people in his life that ended up mattering so much to him, and I feel that same exact way towards this show and cast. I’d like to thank @ohsolovelylily for trusting me with this wonderful character who is one of my favorite in all of literature/pop culture, and who I now have all the more reason to cherish. This is easily the best show and my most favored role I’ve done yet and one I think will remain a constant forever, and I’m so very proud of it. As an actor you hope to honor the material (let alone material I love so much), and I hope I did right in capturing Bilbo’s quirkiness, fear, curiosity and inner courage. I will not forget one line of this. I will always remember when Bilbo Baggins was me, and saying goodbye to him is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. Farewell Mr. Baggins. I love you so much ❤️ Goodbye cast and crew, I bid you all a very fond farewell. #thehobbit #bilbobaggins #jrrtolkien #theatre #actor

The Hobbit 🏔️🐉

This show has been such a joy to be a part of and to assistant direct. I am so grateful for this opportunity from @lilyholly I couldn’t have done this without her and the rest of our close friends that were in this show. To my sweet Jim and all of the others I have gotten close to!

i am SO grateful that i was given the opportunity to have been in this spectacular production of “The Hobbit”!! especially to have been trusted with a male role and entirely making it my own. that creative expression was gifted to me by @ohsolovelylily , and i will forever be grateful for that. i not only felt believed in, but i felt loved. i made such wonderful friends in all of this; friends i wouldn’t trade for the world and have come to love so very dearly. this has been a journey of healing for me, and i will always hold it so close to my heart that it embeds it there forever, especially the people that were the wind in my wings (not a bad pun attempt, i swear) along the way.

my heart is so full. i haven’t felt complete, or at least this close to it, in a very long time.

from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

smaug out!!!

To think I was very close to missing out on 2026’s “The Outsiders” at Cypress Moon would’ve been one of the biggest mistakes I ever made. The first time I auditioned for the show, I didn’t feel a connection to the story or any of the characters so out of respect, I didn’t want to step on anyone’s toes. And now Randy Anderson is one of my favorite roles that I get to carry with me for the rest of my life with some of the best character development I ever read. And it was such an important role I think for today's society too where a lot of people are a product of their environment and rooted in bias that shadows the fact that at the end of the day, we all bleed red. I can without a doubt say that this was up there as possibly the most fun acting group I’ve ever been in, working with some of my favorite local talent, and meeting some amazing new ones. You’d almost think none of us could’ve pulled off a show of this caliber if only you knew how wild we all acted offstage. And it was a great reminder of the fact that theatre is possibly the most welcoming and accepting space to totally surrender and feel free to be yourself, and these people totally brought a side out in me that’s long been asleep. My only regret is the fact that we weren’t able to show this show as much locally, because we mainly did it for schools. But for those who did show up these past two nights for our public performances…thank you. Theatre, supporting your friends and family’s dreams and hard work, and the gathering of our community is all the better for it. There’s so much more I could say about the experience, but the friendships, laughs and memories made along the way will forever exist. There’s tons of love in my heart for this group. Thank you for the most memorable chapters in theatre I’ve had in some time, and stay gold, you all. ❤️✌🏻❤️ #theoutsiders #theatre #actor #staygold

2025 ftw 🔥 I can without a doubt in my mind say this year has been an absolute whopper. I set goals, dreams came true, created magic with some very special people, stepped out of my comfort zone, made some good friends and memories to last a lifetime. Thank you so much to everyone who was so integral in making it so special. Of course it was not without its downs, but even with all of it’s trials and tribulations, I’m grateful for this life. We shouldn’t expect 2026 to be perfect, it’s going to be what we make it, and I wish you all a Happy New Year.
