Inspired by the beautiful, lonely, garish paintings of Edward Hopper, a nostalgic facade is peeled back to reveal a truth dark and timeless.
This noir ballet was the highlight of the evening for me! I got to play two different villains; a crooked brute of a cop and a chipper dinerboy who's maybe more connected to the underworld than he's letting on. It was electrifying to be on stage with everyone during this piece, and seeing the pictures after, every moment in it really does look like a painting. I hope we revisit this one!
