Last night was the launch event for @marlow_calendar - a fundraising initiative from Marlow Community Against Cancer.

The packed event saw the big reveal of photos of many community groups who had all sportingly posed for some rather cheeky shots 😉. Our first pic includes the photographer @anthonymarksaul, with Helen and Chris who founded the initiative following Chris's diagnosis.

Then there are some sneak peeks at a selection of images, but you want to buy the calendar for all of them of course (link in bio of @marlow_calendar )

It was a great night, moving and fun in turn, and the photos are amazing- you really do want to get the calendar!!

Hey Bournemouth, turn on the Wave Machine 🌊

As Day Two comes to a close here at the 2026 British Rowing Beach Sprints, today saw some epic dives for the line, the start of the Women’s Solos, Mixed Quads and some pretty fun waves.

We cannot wait to be back again tomorrow for the final day of this years championships!

Wow… what a day! ❤️

What an incredible experience bringing together over 100 amazing people for our Marlow Community Against Cancer calendar shoot.

We had wonderful Marlow community groups, as well as individuals from across our community, all coming together to support something we truly believe in.

And this is only the beginning! 🎉

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be giving a huge shout-out to all the incredible people who helped make the day happen. Then comes our launch event, the premiere of the film from the shoot… and finally, the BIG REVEAL of the finished calendar photos! 📸

We’re also hoping to exhibit the photographs around Marlow, and there’ll be a silent auction, raffle… and maybe even a ball! 🥂

Then comes the really exciting bit — getting the calendars out there! They’ll be available through our website, and we’d love to see them stocked in local shops too. If you’re able to help with an exhibition, sell calendars, sponsor us or support in any other way, please get in touch.

Because Marlow Community Against Cancer is for our community, by our community. ❤️

Our aim is to turn this into something that provides meaningful support for people and families affected by cancer.

So please like and follow our Instagram and Facebook pages and come on this journey with us. There’s lots more to come!

And finally… thank you, Marlow. You really are AMAZING! ❤️

Chris & Helen

We had two great races against Maidenhead E crews to finish off the season and coming away with the pots! A big shout out to our coaches Mike and Harry for all the work put in to make the boats go faster. Thanks also to @maidenheadrowingclub for a great regatta as always, the perfect end to each season!
