Meet the makers behind @marninsaylor 🤩 Thomas and Skye!

“It all began way back in 2012 when Skye made the first Donut Cat plush toy by hand. She had been making toys for fun for many years, and decided to try and make a Donut Cat after doodling one in her sketchbook.
Friends saw that first toy and wanted to buy them as holiday gifts, so Skye recruited Thomas into helping her sew. They decided to try out a craft fair, which went well and led them to being juried into Pike Place Market as vendors on the handmade craft line, and the rest is history!”

Come discover their handmade creations at Makers located at 106 Pike Street!

I was given the amazing opportunity to draw a sugar-filled, intergalactic poster of @marninsaylor Pastry Pets! My personal favorite are the Donut Cat Extraterrestrials 💫 if you would like your own poster, you can find them at the Marnin Saylor store at @pikeplacepublicmarket or on their website, marninsaylor.com ☺️

Pike Place Summer Vibes
I’m FINALLY going through some of my film from our anniversary staycation trip downtown. The first three photos will most likely be in my top 10 favorite photos from this year. In fact, it was really one of those “oops…(almost) all bangers” rolls that you get sometimes. Emphasis on sometimes.
I have another roll that from that I can’t wait to share very soon as well!
Oh, and this was my first roll of @mr.negative_film_store Same Same and I’m in love.

Since I was 14, I have always dreamed of going to Seattle one day and finally at 26, that dream came true. Going to Seattle for the first time was so amazing and it surpassed my expectations; I loved my time there so much. To the Emerald City, one day, I will be back to experience everything else you have to offer and so much more🫶😌✨
