One of our favourite escapes from Marrakech 🇲🇦⛰️

We spent the day exploring the Ourika Valley, driving through the Atlas Mountains, passing little villages and ending up surrounded by waterfalls, riverside restaurants and some seriously beautiful scenery. 🌿💦

It’s such a nice contrast with the busy streets of Marrakech and an easy day trip if you want to see a completely different side of Morocco.

One of the most unexpected places we visited in Marrakech 🌿🎨✨

ANIMA Garden feels like stepping into another world: a botanical garden filled with tropical plants, hidden pathways, colourful sculptures and surreal artworks, all with the Atlas Mountains in the background. 🏔️

Created by Austrian artist André Heller, it’s located outside the busy centre of Marrakech and makes for such a peaceful escape from the Medina.

And getting there is easier than you might think 👇🏼

🚌 There’s a FREE shuttle bus from Marrakech
📍 Departure: Parking/Lavage La Koutoubia, behind the Koutoubia Mosque
➡️ Marrakech → ANIMA: 09:30 & 14:30
⬅️ ANIMA → Marrakech: 13:00 & 17:30
⏱️ Around 40–45 minutes each way

Make sure to reserve your seat in advance as places on the shuttle are limited.

Bacha Coffee was definitely one of our favorite stops in Marrakech ☕️🇲🇦

The whole place is beautiful, from the iconic orange details to the coffee service itself. We loved the atmosphere and of course had to try a few things from the menu too.

A bit touristy maybe, but still so worth experiencing at least once ✨

One of the most beautiful places in Marrakech 🇲🇦✨

The Saadian Tombs are a historic burial site in Marrakech, where members of the Saadian dynasty were laid to rest.

It’s not a huge place, but the details make it really special: from the colorful Moroccan tiles and carved walls to the marble columns and beautiful architecture. 🤎

Definitely worth adding to your Marrakech list.
