Mariana and I were nominated for an average of 14 Emmys each today. Don’t look too hard at the breakdown. (But really, very proud of our little company @muck.media for 28 nominations total today and always in awe of my brilliant partner @marianavz!)

Hi! ⋆｡°✩ This short was originally a project for my film class, but I loved making it so much that I wanted to share it! Much of this was inspired by Cristina Costantini’s documentary from this past June on Sally Ride. It truly is an impactful watch; the writing from @xtinatini and @marrowknee is wonderful, and I cannot recommend it more. Also, this is a great time to pause and recognize how important the representation of everyone, in all careers, is. Diversity is what makes our world spin, and why we have been able to touch the stars; let’s not lose that. "Young girls need to see role models in whatever careers they may choose, just so they can picture themselves doing those jobs someday. You can’t be what you can’t see." - Sally Ride All rights for music reserved to David Bowie Slightly off piano playing by me!
