The Perfect Slow Morning Shoe.

Story time! When the @adidasus homies first invited us to join the Slow Drip Tour, we’d meet in the conference room at Deadstock Beaverton to talk through the Control 5, plans and ideas. While meeting I’d watch people get a coffee, and chill before they went on about their day. Deadstock was always built to be a place to pause for a minute. A reset or a setup to your day. And as much as I say I did it for y’all, I wanted that for myself.

The inspo hit me quickly - What would MY slow morning look like?!

Well, I’d wanna wake up “late” (still early to y’all), throw on a pair of beaters by the door, and hit the coffee shop - Deadstock 2 of course. Dap up the homies, have a hot chocolate in a for-here mug… Forget what time it is. Then I’d walk to the @beavertonmarket and buy up the whole block. After that, who knows?!

Fast forward to now, DS2 is closed. But the colors and materials, the memories, community energy. They won’t ever leave us.

I wanted to make a shoe that makes you instantly say, “I’ma beat these shoes up”! Clean and reliable but with body. Kicks that work with every fit. A pair that carry you from city to city.

Accidentally on purpose, I made us all a reminder to slow down.
