One shot. Thats it. One life. We are only here for a short time. The air we breathe is borrowed. It’s never to late to start taking care of your body.

True freedom is the result of taking responsibility (radical responsibility) of yourself.
You don’t have to choose health. You get to.
You get to be a steward, a caretaker, of the miracle that is you.

Live accordingly. 🫵🏻

We would love to help you set a new standard for your life. Shoot us a DM and let’s get started.

“There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

You might see a lot of brands in your inbox fighting for your attention today. That’s fine.
For us, we hope you put the credit card away and live today the way it was intended.
Go outside. Be with people you love. And if you’re up for it — do Murph.

It’s the hardest workout most of us will do all year. A mile, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 air squats, another mile. Named for Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who gave his life for his teammates in Afghanistan in 2005.
When you’re in the middle of it — when the legs are gone and the pull-up bar feels impossible and you still have a mile left — remember that the man this workout is named for faced something infinitely harder.
He didn’t hesitate.
That’s what today is about.

Thank you to every service member who has served, sacrificed, and given everything.

Our team located across the US participated today. Where are you doing MURPH today?

@herhealth.us x @methodmadefitness first annual Murph is officially in the books!

MURPH:
1 MILE RUN
100 PULL UPS
200 PUSH UPS
300 SQUATS
1 MILE RUN
Men - 20# weighted vest
Women - 14# weighted vest

This workout exists to honor Lt. Michael P. Murphy, a Navy SEAL who was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2005. What started as one of his favorite workouts, originally called “Body Armor,” became “Murph” after his sacrifice. Today, we chose to complete it as a gym community to remember his courage and define our own. Today, we chose to get outside our comfort zones and face ourselves in the mirror to see what we’re made of when things get tough.

All but 2 people in this group had NEVER completed any version of this workout before. 👀

Today was special. The first of many like it.

Hard work is always, always worth it.

It’s easy to look good when you’re fresh.
It’s harder when the work is already done.
Today isn’t about the first movement.
It’s not about the second.

It’s about what you can produce when both have already taken something from you.
That’s where the truth shows up.

TODAY’S WORKOUT
EMOM 24 (4-minute cycle x 6 rounds):
Min 1: 6 DB Devil’s Press (50/35)
Min 2: 12 DB Front Squats
Min 3: Max Pull-Ups
Min 4: Rest
Score: Total pull-ups

STIMULUS
Devil’s press elevates the heart rate.
Front squats load the legs and midline.
Then you hit the bar.
This isn’t about your best set.
It’s about your repeatable set.

The goal is consistency across all 6 rounds.

SCALING OPTIONS
Lighter DBs
Reduce reps (4 devil’s press / 10 squats)
Banded pull-ups or ring rows
All reps count.

COACH’S NOTES
Devil’s press: smooth, not frantic.
Front squats: stay upright, breathe.
Pull-ups:
Break early
Stay controlled
Avoid failure in early rounds
The athletes who manage fatigue best will win this one.
