AUTHENTIC. 🏀📖

Working on this project really took me back to 1998. I remember MB wanted to go to Maryland or Georgetown, and how much he loved the AI Georgetown era, they ended up taking another guard but I remember how hard he worked that summer.

Fast-forward almost 30 years later, and I thought it was super dope that I had the opportunity to bring his son into this project as a model for the SLAM x Georgetown collection. Crazy full-circle moment🔄.

I know at the end of the day these projects are about moving product, but sometimes you gotta appreciate the story behind it and let it be what it is.

Shout out to everybody at SLAM for the opportunity. Big love to MB and LB! 🙏🏾

And if you haven’t copped anything from the collection yet, what you waiting on? Go run it up! 🏀🔥

Till next time. Love y’all. Peace. ✌🏾

Ps YALL SEE ME ON THAT RIM 😎

It doesn’t take long after 2027 Marshall Bailey gets on the court to find out that among other things he is a 3 point sniper. The 6’ 1” guard from the Westtown School and WER1 (AAU) moves great without the ball landing him in comfortable spots to knock down long range bombs. He’s a high IQ guard that doesn’t have to dominate the ball to be effective or make an impact. He’s efficient and takes advantage of his opportunities. Besides being effective off the ball, he’s also a great scorer and finisher off the dribble. Whatever is called for at the guard spot he can do. He’s also a great defender, and playmaker. He will make a great addition at the next level and can make an immediate impact because he’s athletic, defends, and a shot maker.
