Marshmellaxy is a Japanese artist based in Tokyo. Started with in traditional media such as acrylic painting and digital illustration, her artistic practice took a turn when she adopted generative AI as a creative tool. Since then, she has developed a highly personal visual language, blending elements of fashion, cute and stylish girls, and technology into futuristic and dreamlike compositions, always with a tender touch of pastel colors. The name itself, a fusion of “Marshmallow” and “Galaxy,” sums up her artistic ethos: a cosmos where sweetness collides with infinity. Through her art, she imagines parallel universes where technology amplifies beauty and where tenderness thrives within the machinery of tomorrow.

Perhaps a search for textures and colors, irony or the play of movements, the discomfort of imperfection or the comfort of the balanced chaos of chance, a summary of restlessness fills the artist to create and recreate what forces him to hold his breath, to satisfy the blessed condemnation of being an antenna that captures synchronized frequencies in a rhythm, harmony and melody of life.
