Hate it or Love it. 💚

Marsimoto – Grüner Samt (2012)

Some albums don’t arrive—they drift in like a cloud of smoke.

Marsimoto – Grüner Samt (2012) wasn’t chasing trends or radio plays. It was a trip into a world only Marteria could create through his green-skinned alter ego. Psychedelic, playful, and unapologetically different, the album blurred the lines between hip hop, electronic influences, and pure imagination.

From the hazy production to Marsimoto’s unmistakable high-pitched delivery, Grüner Samt became a cult classic almost instantly. It wasn’t just about the music—it was about escaping reality for a while and getting lost in a universe where nothing had to make perfect sense.

More than a decade later, the album still feels unique. Proof that originality always outlives hype.
