Spring is here!
So is one of the most special markets of the year.

Makers Central opens just three times a year – and this weekend is the first.

It’s not a pop-up.
It’s not a shop.
It’s a full sensory experience inside a working maker studio, where the creative energy isn’t just on the tables. It’s in the walls.

Think: live music.
Food tastings.
One-of-a-kind pieces made by real makers you can actually talk to.
A scavenger hunt for the kids.

And that rare feeling of being surrounded by creativity you can see, hear, smell, and taste all at once.

Bring your mom.
Bring your best friend.
Bring your family.

Come for the makers, stay for the feeling.

84 Central Ave, Tarrytown
Saturday, May 10 | 10am–5pm
Sunday, May 11 | 10am–4pm

Free to attend.

Come see the most amazing makers

Our 2nds and overstock sale is this weekend!

So I decided to do a last minute giveaway.

Guess how many pieces we jammed into this kiln. If you guess closest to the actual number, I'll give you a $250 gift card towards the sale. And probably more importantly, you'll get first dibs on everything.
If you've been to one of these sales before you know that it can get a bit crazy in here. This is where we sell off our less than perfect, blemished and freckled pieces, but it's also the only time you can get your hands on the overstock from our custom hospitality orders.
If you win, you'll get your very own private shopping experience . Free reign of the studio. 30 minutes all to yourself before we open the doors and the mayhem begins. I'll personally make you a cup of coffee (and a mimosa) and guide you through the shop to pick out your favorie pieces in peace. Choose from some amazing one of a kind overstock pieces, or honestly, with the $250 you could probably build an entire set of plates for your kitchen from the piles of 2nds we have.

The sale is IN PERSON ONLY.

BUT.......

If you win, and can't make it in person, I'll FaceTime you for your private shopping experience (you'll have to our your own mimosa though)

Leave your guesses in the comments
Only one guess per person.
I'll announce the winner on Thursday around noon.

Hope to see you this weekend!
Saturday 10-3
Sunday 10-3
84 central ave Tarrytown NY.

The things you find when you clean up your office.

This week I am doing a huge clean up and organizing of my workshop.

Many times it becomes a treasure hunt.

In a bag of wood beads I got from a vintage dead stock store, I found 6 Baroque style beads.

The uniqueness and individuality of each bead.

I knew right away I wanted to make something simple yet elegant.

Something for all styles of hair.

So here is the first item created.

Silver wire (because silver jewelry is what is needed this season).

Just highlighting the beauty of the beads.

Celebrating with custom jewelry as a gift is so much fun!
.
I wanted to create something that could be worn in the office and also on a fun weekend.
.
I wanted to make something that could be worn with neutrals as well with a pop of color.
.
I wanted to make something that could be worn all together or mix it up with other pieces of jewelry.
.
The long necklace can also be doubled up and add the short necklace to make a statement around your neck.
.
Or wear the short and have a long necklace.
.
Earrings to go with whatever combo and you are all set.
.
These were for a special celebration and it is always so special to see the person react to what was made just for them.
