My third spring this year was spent in Norway 🫶🏼🇳🇴

After almost three weeks in Barbados and three months in the US, Cody and I were heading into a longer stretch of time apart, as I wouldn’t be able to stay in the US with him while waiting for my green card approval.

Navigating long distance has definitely been hard. There’s a lot of figuring out how to piece together our time, whether it’s Cody coming to Norway when work allows or meeting up in another country when visas or work don’t allow us to be in the US or Norway. It’s not always easy having so much of our time together depend on logistics, but how lucky are we to have people we love, and who love us, to spend time with wherever we are in the world. ❤️

I’m so grateful for all the quality time I got to spend with my family and friends this spring. From celebrating a baby shower and my grandmother’s 90th birthday, to celebrating Norway’s Constitution Day on the 17th of May, and having my girlfriends put together the most incredible bachelorette day for me (even though I was already married). So many special moments with so many special people, all while navigating a season of life that isn’t always easy. 🇳🇴🤍

My time in Norway this year was amazing, and we captured some of it on film ☺️ It’s only a week until Christmas and I’m so happy I have these memories to look back on when I miss family and friends a little extra ❤️

From Great Sand Dunes to Smoky Mountains (& many more), the landscapes have been incredible, but the amazing people I’ve met have made this adventure unforgettable. I am grateful for every memory so far & excited for all the ones still ahead.
