In a change to the usual garden/plant related content, I wanted to share this memorial to my beloved Maximillian Sydney Bruiser & Mildred Hermione (@max_and_mildred) 🐶💔🐶
Max crossed the rainbow bridge in July 2024 after his battle with kidney disease. He was 14.5 years old.
Millie joined him in July this year after her battle with bronchitis. She was 17 years old.
One thing I really miss is walking with them here, there and everywhere. The logical next step was to have their names tattooed on my feet so that we would walk together always and forever. 🐾🦶🏻
And now we can thanks to the artistry of the rather fabulous @marthasmithtattoo who has created exactly what I wanted - minimal, simple and yet full of meaning.
The figure represents the number of days we were together - Max for 5255 and Millie for 5803. 🖤
Martha, thank you so very much 🙏🏼 (and I am sorry I made you cry). 😆

Spoiler alert: breasts have a biological function, and it’s not for the male gaze. 🍼✨

It’s wild how society happily sexualises women's bodies 24/7, but the second a mother uses them to nourish a human baby in public, it’s suddenly "too much".

Babies get hungry everywhere, and mothers shouldn't have to apologise, hide in public toilets, or feel uncomfortable just because some people haven't unlearned outdated views.

Respect the feed. 🤍

Let this set of incredible photos, shot by the EXTREMELY talented @hrutterphoto be your calling to shout about your dreams and wishes! From the rooftops!

A few months ago I was yapping about getting back into sewing since studying fashion at uni, saying I really wanted to get photos to document them. Holly asked if I wanted to collab with her - similarly, she’d studied photography at uni, but the fashion industry can be a brutal place to work, and photography was left behind as life moved on.

In the summer, we got together and had the BEST DAY about Folkestone. I am obsessed with how these photos came out, I can’t describe how much it means to me to have a set of photos that I love. It feels Holly has captured this representation of so so many things - my love of creativity and craft, from tattoos and nails (@artistryby.chlo is a creative angel of pure heart and great yaps), to handmade clothing, a continued journey of recovery from disordered eating, exploring my queer identity, what femininity looks and feels like for me when it’s not a performance for the male gaze (please see: that time I shaved my head for a year and it changed everything).

Following this, I have so many more explorations I want to do, both with these photos, but also as part of a wider conversation around identity. But for now, please enjoy this tiny slice of pie.

Also, anybody want to book Holly and I for shoots?? Because we are a creative dream team

We booked a day with @marthasmithtattoo in her beautiful Broadstairs studio .....
both myself @chunx_ster had a few ideas so decided to share the day appointment ... after a very easy process of booking with Liam (who by the way is an amazing artist!) we were super excited for our day
Coffee & delicious cake @fortscoffee to start
Martha's studio is a super cool space to spend the day , Chris went first and I made the most of the comfy sofa and did some stitching and hit the picnic!! 🤣
Chris did some work when it was my turn 🙄
We chatted random shit , shared fav podcasts and future tattoos!
Such a great day felt like a wellness retreat .... Martha's space is relaxed, inclusive & calm
She is an amazing artist and all round beautiful person
