Jill and Matt’s springtime Joshua Tree National Park wedding had bluebird blue skies, the prettiest wildflowers, and so much joy from loved ones all day long. They chose Hidden Valley for their ceremony permit location, and it was perfect to capture all the things they love about the park! Boulders, flowers blooming, distant mountain vistas, and of course the iconic Joshua Trees. Guests stayed cool under paper parasols in the desert sun, and after the ceremony they headed to Matt & Jill’s home in nearby Yucca Valley to celebrate all evening long! More friends joined them for the party, with local tacos and ice cream too 😍🌮🍨 What a wonderful way to get married, sharing the national park you love with your family & friends. Congratulations to The Cabermans!!

2025, you broke my heart six ways to Sunday. So many more memories I wish I could share, but they bring a bitter sweetness. If I could go back, of course there are things I would adjust but I still wouldn’t change my personal growth & experiences that make me, me for the world. Even tho it’s been tough, I am a better person for them. It brings me peace, knowing I did everything with love in my heart, despite it all & whether it’s understood or not. I am so grateful for the good people that have stood by me through it all, have been honest with me, given me the benefit of the doubt & know my heart. That alone makes me rich beyond any material possession. (I’m sorry I couldn’t tag everyone, but you know who you are & I love you.) 2026, well… here we go.

🎬 It’s not every day you get asked to bring a broadcast spot to life…

We’ll be honest, we weren’t given a big budget for this one. Even so, the opportunity was there along with the trust from the client that we could do something without the usual financial padding.

Let’s face it, do we like working with big budgets? Definitely! You get to hire great catering and have extra hands on set. But that’s not the reality of a lot of clients that need help and come to us to solve their needs.

At the end of the day, we want work and we want to bring work to our crews. So we took on the challenge, and pulled together the people we knew could make it happen!

Are we going to win an award, no. But we did good work with limited resources while receiving gratitude and praise from the client for what we delivered. Which is due to the impressive and flexible crew seen here behind the scenes. To us that’s a job well done. 💪

A *handful* more of the shots from our motion and stills shoot for @getmynectar
—
Towards the end of last year, I had an opportunity to direct some some video work, in addition to shooting stills, for @getmynectar, to be cut together for social ads and as step-by-step guides for customers using the products, wishing to solve persistent allergies. This is a little teaser of some of that footage and just love how it all turned out!
No surprise there of course — @mnnfrr had the artistic vision and every duck in a row and @danny.owens @toilstudio had the expertise to run a seamless production, bringing in major talents like DP @keonstuff and his crew who just breathed bright and sunny cinematic life into this thing, @smargherita and her crew on props, and finding terrific talent w/ @shelbydate and @_cheikhtall, dressed by @meru_turao and makeup by @marthfx And I was grateful as usual to work alongside @brianchismgrip and @kellywundsam.

In mid January I kicked off my first project of the year with this gem of a shoot! Good Guys w/ Guns is a proof of concept for a feature and I can’t wait to see where this project goes! 🙌🏼

Shoutout to this amazing cast & crew - it was so nice to start the year off with a phenomenal shoot, easygoing people and fun all around! 🙌🏼

It was an absolute pleasure working with such talented actors and fellow Latinos @the_annalamadrid (This Fool/Hulu) and my hilarious new friend @jonathanjordanmedina (Primo/Hulu)! And of course the funny @brandonkeener (PEN15/Hulu), who was such a trooper on this shoot and the sweet Erin Mulvey @emulv (AHS/Hulu). (Damn they all on Hulu 😂)

To our director Randy & DP Ray - thank you both so much for your collaboration and trust in me. Our combined preparation helped make this shoot go smoothly and I thank you both for that! I’ve never had a seasoned DP tell me I actually made them a better DP through our prep before - thank you for that Ray. I admire your humility & grace so much! 🙏🏼

And last but most certainly not least, to my fearless leaders & bae’s, my amazingly talented Producer Nadia and dope af UPM Helena. Y’ALL DID THAT and I will always say yes to any project with either of you in the future. You two are absolute powerhouses!!! I’ve never felt more secure as an AD than the way I felt with you two by my side. Wow y’all are going to fly so high! 🙌🏼🙏🏼

I am humbled and overcome with gratitude to have had the opportunity to AD this project. Thank you @luisamnovo for referring me! 🙏🏼

I may or may not have been waiting my whole life for someone to ask me to be completely f*cking unhinged.

Honored to have had this experience thanks to @whoisthebaldguy and @p00n! ( And never forget @priprilala_ and @javierofhell )

Special shout out to @makeupmaryann @joshen09 @marthfx for the incredible make up, hair, and wardrobe.
