Forearm Flyout isn’t some vague “bad mechanics” catch-all. It’s specific.

If your forearm gets outside that 90° range by foot strike, your elbow’s exposed — and your UCL is doing work it was never built to do alone.

Here’s what we’re chasing instead: staying in and around that 90° pocket as you rotate through, so the elbow’s still protected right up until release. That way you’re using the musculature around the joint to take the load — not just your ligament.

Self-check: when you get to foot strike, where’s your forearm sitting? Inside that window, or already leaking out?

Small position. Big difference for your elbow long-term.

“It’s gonna suck, you’re gonna hate every second of it, and you should. But it’s gonna suck a hell of a lot harder when you wake up one day, washed up, working at a 7/11 and you’re wondering “what if I worked harder.” That’s what should keep you going.”-Abe Brown

I don’t thank God enough for how blessed I am to have you as my coach these past 11 years. Sucks to know I’ll never be able to play for you again, but it’s great knowing you’ll be in my corner through this next chapter.

Thanks for making me a fighter.
Love you Dad.
