What an absolute week ⛳️
Hats off to @usdga for hosting another fantastic Championship! Every year Jason Faircloth & @onelegbell continue to improve this Major event to levels unmatched. Kudos to what you do for all of us #disabled golfers.
.
Major shout out to @pingtour and @pga for being title sponsors for another year and @bridgestonegolf for supplying a dozen balls to all participants.
Thank you to all the folks @pgavillage for treating us all like the world class athletes we are.
.
This event means a lot to me and I hoped to fair better than I did. I was feeling good leading up to this event but when I got here it just wasn’t to be. Before the first round started I broke my driver and it set the tone for the week. Just an unfortunate series of events. Sometimes you’re the hammer and sometimes you’re the nail. Glad to have this experience and will learn from it and move on. I’ve never let a bad performance define me and I’ll be back. I need to remind myself what I’m doing is extremely difficult and being able to play and compete is a gift in and of itself.
And yeah #golf is still hard
.
Cheers to @kim_moore_34 for winning the Women’s Overall Championship 🏆 & @kiiid912 for winning overall Men’s Championship 🏆 & @kenny_bontz_golf for winning the Seniors division.
.
Thanks to the people who support me even when I break a 6ft driver moments before my round. Appreciate you @rourkebr and @pingtour - you guys build the best clubs and I love playing them. Thanks to @adidasgolf & @bridgestonegolf for all your support as well
.
Special thanks to @e.i.e_is_me for coming out and being my caddy for day. Appreciate your support dude.
.
We regroup and head home to California and @mrcowboyboy
Next up, Torrey Pines
