ENTRIES ARE OPEN - 1.4 Awards of Brilliant Filmmaking 2026

Ahead of another year of boundary-pushing filmmaking, we’re honouring last year’s On the Cusp winners - emerging directors with 1–4 years’ experience who proved just how powerful early-career work can be.

Have you directed a standout piece of short-form content? Want your work seen by the world’s top creatives, commissioners, and curators, and screened online and at our London Awards Show next month?

13 CATEGORIES // 3 SHOWCASES // 1 EPIC PARTY

Our only rules? Entries must be under 20 minutes, made after January 2024, and never submitted to previous 1.4 Awards. All longlisted work will be showcased on the 1.4 site - a global resource for commissioners hunting for fresh talent.

Standard entries close December 17 so hit the link in our bio to submit!
