My epitaph should read, “Here finally rests a restless man, a man who never had a bad day. He was a man of great faith and he acted on it.”

Who gets to keep us safe, and how should they be held accountable?

For many Nigerians, insecurity is not an abstract policy issue. It is the fear of travelling, the uncertainty when help does not come quickly, and the reality of communities dealing with kidnapping, banditry and other forms of violence.

As Nigeria considers State Policing, we need more than policy experts talking to one another. We need citizens in the conversation too.

Our speakers will help guide the discussion, but your experiences, questions and perspectives matter. What works in your community? What concerns you about State Police? What safeguards would you want to see?

I found the remarks by Governor Adeleke in his post-victory press conference, reaffirming his endorsement of President Tinubu’s 2nd term, quite uncharitable… He didn't win that election, Osun people won that election for him @martobono says on #rubbinminds
