The Drop In - a sacred space that surrendered each of us into a deeper internal rest. Such an honour to hold this workshop with my sister @shannon.miko • curated somatics, yoga, sound, and breath • the perfect recipe to drop below the mind, and into the heart. Thank you to all the beautiful friends that came to gather, and to @blackstarcoffeeroasters for providing the space.

Aho. Namaste. Namaslay. 🦋💫🤎

The theatre is a sanctuary where we can get away with what we would have been burnt at the stake for 🏴‍☠️

Footage of me taking a participant through a process called #EnergyScaffolding where we:

1) Scan for stuck energy
2) Amplify it through breath, sound, movement
3) Run the emotion
4) Voice the underlying message

All of these techniques free up stuck energy to open to communication channels.

This has been a golden chapter- “the days on #PlayerParade” have woven existing communities together, evolved #OpenWorldTheatre and given us a glimpse into where we can head together.

Open World is wild, but our hearts keep refining the process.

That process is now closing the doors on our Ocean Shores dojo.

It’s revealing that it’s time to run facilitator training.

We also feel to bring this practice from the experienced shores of the Northern Rivers, to the novice streets of the mainstream.

THANK YOU all for growing with us over this past summer.

🥋For stepping into Scenework to expand our capacity and range of human interactions.

🤼‍♂️ For the joy of play fighting in nature.

🚦For disrupting isolation by bringing the trickster to public spaces.

🎤 🐝 For discovering and cross pollinating the art within Open World.

🫡 And for letting me know that you are ready and willing to show up regularly to train for the wild uncertainties of tomorrow!

April 10th is our final day of training*
(*No training on Weds 27th March).

Until then- See you in the dojo… let’s make these last 4 weeks smack 💥✊🏴‍☠️

We are at play: filling rooms with people to train at our edge of understanding.

Understanding ourselves, each other and how to bridge to two.

The players who show up to the arena are bravely and curiously exploring the unknown.

Defining a new language together.

This is where our bodies start to feel more like our own and this human experience can feel more like home.

You don’t have to fully understand it, we’re just working it out ourselves… but if you know you want to try it, come train!

We are in the dojo all day Weds & Sat and Tues evenings. Monday we take it to the street with Public Displays of Humanity.

An amazing Local water to finish the week

The source of this precious, pristine liquid is Mt Beerwah Natural Spring Water’s very own natural spring. Located at the heart of a
79-acre chemical free property. The spring is naturally rising,
meaning the water flows from the earth without any mechanical
assistance, with the only controlling factor of the amount of water
expelled being atmospheric pressure. Once the water has flowed
unassisted from the earth, it is then transferred to our factory for
bottling. The water is then dispatched fresh to our customers, via
our temperature-controlled home delivery service or our various
local outlets

Less than 2 hrs drive from Brisbane this amazing water is available.

It is an amazing feeling knowing we have this on our back door here in Brisbane Australia.

Have you ever seen inside a roasting machine?
These images are from our recent machine Reno. Stumbled upon some interesting issues, notably the deflection shield that covers the drum, was blown out (see last image).
Replaced this in order to facilitate more consistent roast. Hard to know exactly what the impact was. One things for sure, since the change we’ve noticed more clarity than ever in the cup.
