Here at the Metropolitan Arts Council, we are gearing up for Greenville Open Studios 2026 and want to help you discover the wonderful artists in our community who are hard at work preparing to welcome you into their studios in just a few weeks.

The artists featured in this carousel are printmakers, but many also work across other media, offering a range of work and perspectives to discover.

Meet the artists, explore their studios, and experience the creative process firsthand during Open Studios, November 14–15, 2026. Select studios will also be open Friday, November 13.

Save the date and plan your weekend of art around Greenville!

Open Studios is sponsored by the Metropolitan Arts Council.

⚪️ I engaged in eight hugs today. That’s well above my usual daily yield. And the 191 miles I drove to get those hugs? Totally worth it. ⚪️ Today was also a day for receiving *other* gifts (all from art camp Karen! 💛): a striped Barbie coat, some lavender, and a most splendiferous tomato. ⚪️ When I was in Ashland this week, we ate dinner at an amazing restaurant, @tlalli.astreet. I recommend it. ⚪️ Do check out the @linetimepodcast; I really like the small scribbly piece (shown in slide 2) I created at last week’s @lettiejanemakes Menucha workshop using Line Time-ish prompts. ⚪️ #linetimepodcast #helvismith #mushroomcoloratlas #janedelynn

@martyeppcarterstudio ventured out into the dating world, a laboratory of algorithms, chemistry, and chance. They had a good connection with someone – and then was ghosted. Marty took that emotional energy to the friendlier environs of the studio, where chance also plays a role in their creative process. They wrote about "A Fail-Safe Way to Navigate Dating Apps in 2025," the first piece in their dating series, for today's Work in Progress in Ocean in a Drop. The link is in my bio, and I'll post it below.
