The Ungrateful Tenant premiere! A masterful and hilarious silent film by @conor_bowden, scored by an incredible live orchestra. It was a definite highlight of NZIFF, which I had the joy of doing photography and videography for! If you haven’t had the chance to see it yet, I would definitely recommend scooping up some tickets for the 12th of August!!

Also part of the Kiwi cinema celebrations recently, The Ungrateful Tenant premiered to a packed crowd at the Hollywood Avondale (with an orchestra playing alongside for the big event) 🎉 👏

A slapstick silent cinema experience, it’s a story of the capitalist hellscape of landlords, real estate agents and dodgy flatmates - and Cantabrians, there’s still time to catch the screening on 7 Aug.

Big congrats to director Conor Bowden and the clever team - and renters everywhere, this one’s for you!
