What’s happening during this NeuroSage session? 🧠

Your child’s brain is constantly processing information, from what they see and hear to how they move, focus and respond to the world around them.

During this session, Dr Mary and Dr Leah combine the StimPod, BrainDriver and targeted laser therapy to work with specific areas of the brain and nervous system.

The trigeminal nerve carries sensory information to the brainstem, while the prefrontal cortex plays a role in attention and emotional regulation.

We always look at the bigger picture of your child’s development 🧡

Our eyes and inner ears work together to help us keep our vision steady while our head moves. It’s called the vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR), and it’s something our bodies do automatically throughout the day without us even thinking about it.

By gently moving a child’s head and observing how their eyes respond, we can get a better understanding of how their visual and vestibular systems are working together. 🧠

These systems play an important role in how we move through the world, from looking around a classroom to playing, exploring and taking part in everyday activities.

It’s one small part of the bigger picture when it comes to understanding a child’s nervous system and their individual needs 🌱

Just a few of the reasons adults and kids may benefit from seeing a chiropractor 🌱

Everyone’s different, which is why we always look at the individual, not just the symptom! ✨

Come along to a paediatric chiropractic session with Dr Mary 🌱

Dr Mary is assessing her young patient before using adjustments to help release tension and support comfortable movement.

And yes… there are some satisfying little cracks along the way 👀

🔊 Sound on for the best bits!

Every movement in an assessment has a purpose… watch Dr Mary test/assess for Primitive reflexes 🌱

She uses a soft brush on our little client’s cheeks, palms, and the soles of his feet to assess how his nervous system responds to the stimulus for the Rooting, Palmar and Babinski reflexes. You’ll also see her moving his head from side to side to assess for the ATNR reflex.

These simple activities give us valuable insight into a child’s development and help us create the best plan to support their individual needs, all while keeping the experience calm, comfortable, and full of smiles! 🧡

We’re passing the phone to the team (and trusting them not to expose each other too much 😂)

We take what we do seriously, but ourselves? Not so much!

And yes, we did make Mary cry happy tears... to be fair it doesn’t take much 🥺
