Holy shit that took forever to make. I'm glad this only happens once a year. 4 years sober, today. Life is full of good and bad but it's been plenty of good for me. A big round of applause for the ones who helped me get here and have helped give me a life worth living. Change your stars, heroes. It can happen. And strength can be found in the Darkness. . Stay Rad. Stay Strong. Be Kind.

"Above all shadows rides the sun." J.R.R. Tolkien . If anything is certain, it is that the dawn shall arrive. Light will break the darkness time and time again. . Over the past few weeks, I have conversed with heroes of the realm and heard their struggles. Chapters ending, injuries, depression, pain, loss, heartbreak and a general darkness pervading lives of the heroic. . While a life of unending light sounds glorious, we know this is won't come to pass. A shadow may cloud your days. The darkness may linger longer than you'd like. . Yet, it's these times when I witness others rise to new levels of strength. I see others bear it and move forward with hope on their hearts. I see them reach out for help as the truly strong do. . Be it injury or sorrow, know that you have the Strength to move forward to a coming Dawn. . And, I thank my mother for instilling this all in me. To see her sit in the darkness gazing upon the wonderful light is a sight I never forget. Thank you for teaching me how to be Strong, mother. . Stay Rad, Stay Strong and Be Kind 💪🏾⚔️🤘🏾🛡
